I am missing all those Hacks and Additions for v3arcade - John should backup them here or reopen his forum "readonly" with only those Hacks left within ...

Magical1, I'd love to know what work you've actually done to make you think that you can actually sell it on as an "improved" version of v3arcade.. From the sound of it, you've basically installed addons from other sources, slapped it all together for a new installation and are trying to pass it off as your own work.


No, that is only an issue with ibProArcade (I think).

Well I am quite gutted. I just bought a VBulletin licence yesterday - With one of the main intentions to have the VB3Arcade as a major feature on the site! As you can imagine, it's pretty disappointing to see that the game producers have decided to close the site, along with the game add-on packs. :disappointed:

Just wondering if anyone has additional game add-ons somewhere on their site, or able to give me access to them. (Note not the actual game installation package, as I know we want to keep that as requring a licence to download).

If anyone could help that would be much appreciated! :nervous:

there are settings in your acp in each user group you may have to enable the permision

Under usergroups,you have to set the permissions for each usergroup you'd like to haveaccess. So Edit usergroup, setting which one's you'd like to haveaccess like in the following screen cap.

hello, anyone with any advice on this would be a great help it has been a 2week on going problem for me now :rolleyes:

I added the [MOD] A - Z Navigation it displays fine, but for some reason it does not allow users to post/record scores. I have tested it out, I have even asked different user to test it out, but it just will not record the scores with that mod in place.

When I remove th a-z mod, it starts to works fine again oddly.

I do have other hacks/mods installed and they all work fine,

any suggestions?

Hmmm... usually it won`t work together. Like a Bug when u add it. :rolleyes:

If you have the category hack installed, there are a few addons which need alternative instructions to work with it. In quite a few instances, there is code that clashes..

I agree John - only issue I have is that by closing one of the places people can get games for free you drive more money into the pockets of those charging for them.

I do not have the catergory hack installed.
I have
1)news scroll
2)top 5 champs/kings with 5 latest/random/installed games mods etc

At the moment everything is working fine and stable, the only problem is, that that page (arcade.php) loads up with all the games on 1 page, when i add the a-z mod, it spreads out , but the scores dont save.

If someone reliable (no cowboys , no offence) can have a look at it for me it would be a great help, I dont mind donating or paying for your time, long as it works, I would rather someone have a look at it that knows what they are doing then make a mess of it myself.

i have used a fresh copy of the arcade and tried different things, but the problem just stays the same.

Not saying I agree in any way, but how are some others (I won't mention v3arcade.net) much different than the "mysterious" site you are accusing? The hacks in question are free, they do not sell John's arcade as their own, and as for the games, they stop coding certain games after it is known the author does not want it done... unless you have proof otherwise.

I just re-installed this hack just to notice that v3arcade.com is gone :o is there any other place for games now?
