I can see your point,but I can also see the need from the coders point of view.Your comment should not be posted in this thread as your just adding fuel to the fire.Maybe if vborg staff had got their heads together and come back with assitance to the coder rather than adding a rule based on hearsay, would have been more productive for both parties.

Personally I dont understand how you can add a rule for this mod,yet let the likes of unsupported modifications be posted free at will.For me thats the pot calling the kettle.Possibly you could have come back with, we will create a new section for encrypted mods and let users make their own choice,rather than coming back with in my eyes a pathetic reply.

If you are to support coders in the future than you need to get your acts together and look at reality not pass judgement based on old, outdated TOS.The world is moving forward but for me at present vborg is getting left behind.

So I have an issue here. I recently upgraded my vbulletin to version 4.1.10 and it destroyed my chatbox. The chatbox just says loading. I can enter chats and when I click enter, I can see them going into the database. But the chats never load. I look in my console and see that there are errors being thrown. Here are the errors:

Does anyone have a clue as to why this is happening all of the sudden? The chatbox is supposed to be compatible with 4.1.10, and I have no clue as to the issue and need to have this back up asap. Thanks for your help!!

Hum well this error is kinda strange... You are the first to report such problem.

Try enabling/disabling a command and do the same for a channel if any. That should rebuild chatbox datastore.

i need help i can't uninstall the chat box because i keep getting the following error

I tried to install ion but its not working, all i care is uninstall so i can get my site back.

EDIT: Never mind i fixed my self

did the same things as it is shown in insatallation guide. Upload/Installation is without an error. But the Chat is not appearing in my Forum with VB 4.1.10. :(

- Did you check Usergroup Permissions and made sure "can view" is set ?
- Did you check the display settings for the chatbox and specidied "where" to display it ?

Im sure I have seen the option but on looking I cant find it again lol...

Im trying to make it refresh a little more frequently (currently I think its set around 30sec) but I cant find the option anywhere!.

Any ideas as to where it is are greatly appreciated.
