Has anybody upgraded to vBulletin 3.0.1 with VBGarage running?

I'm still using 3.0.0 & because I've made some changes to VBGarage, along with installation of the games Arcade & post since last visits hack, I have been waiting for a time when I could spend a few hours to fix everything back up if needed.

What are the main files I should overwrite to get me to 3.0.1 without too many dramas?

I haven't upgraded while the vbgarage was installed on 3.0, but I have two sites with vb garage, one is 3.0 and the other 3.0.1 and I have not run into any problems of any kind. Since this is mostly template driven, you should not have any problems with upgrading.

Yeah... I went from 3.0 to 3.0.1 with no issues at all...

I'm having problems with the thumbnails. We recently migrated to another server and I did mysqldump and then an import for the transfer. Now, the Thunbnails show up as red X's but when I click on them I get the actual image. I don't have much experience with images stored in a database, is this a common problem? Solution?

When I type in the URL; http://www.racersden.net/forum/vbgar...idth=100&id=90 , I get the following message:

Code:

Warning: imagecreatetruecolor(): requires GD 2.0 or later in /home/httpd/vhosts/racersden.net/httpdocs/forum/vbgarage.php on line 425

Warning: imagecopyresampled(): requires GD 2.0 or later in /home/httpd/vhosts/racersden.net/httpdocs/forum/vbgarage.php on line 427

Warning: imagejpeg(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/racersden.net/httpdocs/forum/vbgarage.php on line 428

Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/racersden.net/httpdocs/forum/vbgarage.php on line 431

Looks to me that your new server doesn't have GD 2.0+.

I had the same problem, its the servers GD version. This hack requires GD 2.0+ Since you said you changed servers, and just transfered everything. The server is the only difference in your site, so I'm almost positive its the GD version.

hope this helps

Yeah I think it makes the thumbs on the fly rather then storing a thumb and a full size image. Check to make sure your GD is up to date

Hi
Ive been working on hacking my garage a bit and am having problems trying to include the profile feilds under the users garage. This would make it easy for users to view the garage and the users profile :surprised:
I can have the memberinfo template data show but the links are broken or missing the user ?=23 id at the end of the url.
When i include the member.php file in vbgarage it will display the users info but i also get broken images for the latest uploads and garage images, and or it displays an error saying the user is not registered and has no profile to view when i call vbgarage.php?do=listgarage :ermm:

Can someone tell me if im on the right track,
How can i add the profile infos under the users garage,
thanks

I have the same issue, if you click on the red x - The image comes up full size.

Now, I have GD 2.0+:

GD Support enabled
GD Version 2.0 or higher
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled

Direct from PHPinfo.

If I take the path that the server is giving me for the thumb directly and input that into the address bar I get a document can not be found error message (500). Now, what is wrong?
