This is something that really needs to be addressed. I don't want to have to set my character length to 1000 and make my page a mile long to avoid this problem and still be able to use BB code.

There is a setting in vB3 to ignore words in quotes for a minimum post limit, I'm sure someone that knows about the ins and outs of vB will be able to use that somehow.

Don't look at me though, as I'm inept when it comes to PHP & MySQL ;)

I cant say for sure but im fairly sure Tigga is working on this issue.

just wondering can this be used as a news script where you can have multiple news post on different forums...

or is it restricted to only one forum like vbindex?

Does anyone know 1) how to edit the index page of vbadvanced? I am trying to increase the default width.

Help, I've followed all the instructions on readme in the zip file and then when all finished and when I run an installation script, it shows this error message:

Parse error: parse error in /home/public_html/forums/includes/functions.php on line 1795

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: exec_nocache_headers() in /home/public_html/forums/admincp/global.php on line 37

Please help, what is wrong?

Thanks a lot for your support

I too would like to show events as you are suggesting. It should follow vB's option to display events up to X number of days ahead of time (upcoming) - perhaps up to X number of events as well.

This would probably be even more useful than the mini-calendar, as it would bring out the events by name.
