HELP! when i run the botloader it just gives me a buncha warnings and times out after 30 seconds why? and how can i fix this?

i got it to work now, make sure you didnt make any typos like i did :D

Now im having another problem, the bot replies to new threads but not replies to posts... what could this be? Im going to recheck the newreply.php now!

Well, I get this error when replying to a thread -

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare gottb() (previously declared in /home/cyricx/public_html/forums/tomstalkerbot.php:21) in /home/cyricx/public_html/forums/tomstalkerbot.php on line 20

However if I hit the back button, then refresh, my reply is there and the bots replies =/

Any ideas?

O it also replies twice if that's any hint to where the problem might be :(

ahh okay, had the code repeated twice in the newreply, got that fixed.

Also someone asked about it using smilies they don't have. In the tomstalkerbot.php find:

in that emot = array change those smilie codes to one for your site :)

Only problem I have left is it isn't parsing the smilies in the posts. It's showing the code likes :louts: instead of the smilie. =/

Any ideas?

So like, all my bot does is reply with smilies also.

I've installed the brain several times and used keywords that the AIML files have but I still get a smilie reply.

What gives?

It'd be nice if it at least gave me some keyword responce.

How do i find my bots id number?

The BOT ID # is the ID # of the user you created, you can easily find that in your USER table in your database.

for example, I called mine Heather, and when I look at the mysql database for my forums, the ID is next to the username

You should be able to view your database via PHPmyAdmin then BROWSE your user table.

At least, that's how I did :)
