LOVE LOVE LOVE this mod! :) Working very well for me on my 4.1.12, the only problem is a problem with my host (hostmonster) using different email proxies to handle the bounced emails. Some of their proxies don't include full headers which means no link to click on. Who knows when/if they'll fix that ... everyone who I've talked to at hostmonster about it seems to be clue less.

Ok that problem that I blamed on my hosts proxies, is not their problem. The problem is with vB or this mod (I'm inclined to lean towards it being vB's fault).

It's not a vB issue, the issue is that the mod does not insert a link in email headers sent from showthread.php.

Does anyone know how this mod injects the link into the headers?

I haven't been able to figure this out yet :( It only injects the bounce link in forumdisplay.php headers, I'd like to have it inject the bounce link in showthread.php headers as well since that's where the majority of my bounced email headers are coming from.

Can anybody who's using this write a script to pipe the email so that the link automatically gets clicked on rather than me doing it manually? I seem to have 3,500 emails right now and they come through too often to manage manually.

Is this mod supported?

If not, then we should request that the vBulletin.org team update the settings.

I hope that we can get an answer to the latest questions at the very least on how to incorporate the links in the showthread.php headers.

Shouldn't this be part of the instructions... or did I miss it?

this mod worked great as long as I sent my emails with the internal php function. Yesterday I sent out with 3 forums emails, but this time with smtp email.

I got many bounces but NONE of them had the EZ link in it.

Except the switch from php to smtp, nothing was changed.

Why the ez bounce link does not show in the bounced email anymore? Does it not work with smtp?

I was just about to install when I saw this. We use an SMTP server also. Any update?
