I'm having the same problem as well...I figured there would be an update with 3.0.6 but I haven't found one, and the site seems to have dissappeared.

had a few probles caus of all the hacks I had but I think I got it but for some reason in one of my styles when I try to veiw it it goes to a blank page ? any ideals?

Has anyone ran into this problem? It's not a major one but it sure is a head scratcher...

First of all, I installed the v3Arcade on vBulletin 3.0.6 (purchased on 01/21/05) and it runs fine. I have around 70 games listed on my site & they are doing well.

Now - I am running WinXP here with all the proper XP upgrades & I am using Internet Explorer 6.0.
The site looks fine here on my PC (my site is www.simtechonline.com/forums - it's a site dedicated to actual flight simulator technicians who work for the military and airlines) but when I go to work and call up the Arcade page on any of their PCs (which is using Win NT & IE 5.5) I get an image that is a expanded menu of the 'quick links' on the left side of the screen.

Besides the fact that a major airline can't upgrade their PCs to the proper browser :rolleyes: I was wondering if older browsers cause errors with v3arcade?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this, but I've been digging thru countless forums for 2 days on this error.

That's because you didn't do your template modifications. If there is a template only install in the installer (I don't really remember..) then do that. If not, tell me and I will try and help further by writing one myself for the mod. I'm sure they won't mind if I help support their mod ;)

Thanks Ill mess with that problem later but right now I have 11 games installed and only 10 are showing? How could I sow all games?

Have uninstalled and switched to ibproarcade.

Right now i have it so its 2 pages with 15 games but i would like to put all the gams on one.

In arcade.php search for:

$perpage

There will be a figure of 10 set as the value for this...simply change it to whatever you want.

How do you install new games?

When you download a zipped game there will be a couple of files that you need to upload

one is the installer which is usually game.whatever.php - this goes into your admincp folder, the .swf fle which is uploaded to your games folder and the .gif files which are uploaded to the images/arcade folder.

Once that's done you need to run the installer by going to the relevant url You'll then get a message saying whether or not it's been installed - delete the game.whatever.php file from the admincp folder and you're ready to go.

Easy instructs for a giant operation. outstanding.

Yep - I installed it on 3.0.6 (www.simtechonline.com) an dit works great. My only glitch is that the 'quick menu' is always in view when the arcade page is viewed on older versons on IE, like Internet Explorer 5.5. On the latest version of IE it works perfectly.

What happened, can someone tell me what to do?

Its keeping the whole site from comming up, so if someone will help me out, that would be good. LOL Im a newbie, sorry.

Normally it's a typo in the code or the changes you made to init.php

If line 917 is after ?> then delete back to ?> as empty space after that will cause errors, but the error your getting seems to indicate a missing "," or something like that.

It would probably be better for you to post what line 917 is.

just wondering if this hack works with the shop..points hack on this site because whenever i try to install this i get an error in my init file...and yes i copied everything like it said...any suggestions?

It tells me now I dont have permission to access the Arcade and im the Site Admin. Are there permissions I need to setup before I get in? I want to make everything be right before I open my boards back up. I currently have them turned off, does that make a difference? Thanks

Ok, I am sure this has been answered somewhere but its just to big to keep looking. I had just upgraded my forum from 3.0.3 to 3.0.6 and I get this error whenever i click on my "Arcade" link:

Does anyone knows how i can fix up this hack to give acces to people with their reputation? caz i notice people been posting stupid stuff like "ok" "hurray" just to play in the arcade...

Delete such posts on finding them and then rebuild post counts, this should remove their access til they post sensibly.

Alternatively, create a new usergroup that is a mirror of your default one, except without arcade permissions. Warn people that if they are caught effectively spamming their post count up to gain access to the arcade, they will be moved into this group for a period of time.

Is this mod going to get a challenge system like ibproarcade does? just wondering...
