Clearly this is your first mod, so you really shouldn't be installing it since it hasn't yet been updated to work with 3.7.

fyi: sport betting pool doesnt show total amount of money in the pool anymore...

From What I remember when I first installed Casino.
The lottery takes 24 hrs to activate itself.

Because a Cron job has to run.

i wish if the casino was OFF instead of the standard no permission error, it would say something like "The casino is currently closed, check back later."

2. I've uploaded " admincp,casino,includes,casino.php " in to casino folder

3. Imported the xml file in the forum admin
Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Added xml file

Now here comes the problem. In my forum admin area, I do not see any new
options like you said , "lottery setup or casino settings " .

Please help me, my forum is sportsbook and casino related forum and i
really need your casino program.

How to duplicate:

1. Go to casino donation page, fill in your OWN name and the amount of money to donate.

2. On the next page you get an url like http://forum.myforum.com/c...&donate=Donate

3. Put this URL in http://tinyurl.com/ , it will give you a short version of the URL

4. Post somewhere on the forum this URL between IMG tags (or just URL tags)

5. Anyone who views the 'image' or clicks the URL will now donate to you

So the donation system needs a confirmation with password or something, well i don't know if that's needed but it obviously isn't secure at this point. We have it disabled untill it is secure.

Having said that, this hack is currently abandoned by the author, sadly, he hasn't been on vb.org for over a month now. The casino's own support site is now just riddled with spammers.

Very sad as this showed much promise and even won "Mod Of The Month" but I think perhaps the author got a bit overwhelmed with it all.

Technically, IMO you should censor tinyurl.com on your forum as it can be used for menacing acts. Using tinyurl for phishing is one way people are using for this criminal act. Ofcourse, you never really can know all the time where a tinyurl will lead you as well. Also, if you do not allow advertising on your forum and have banned certain sites, tinyurl can be used to bypass this ban. These are just some reasons I have found to censor it. :erm:

Yeah but they don't NEED tinyurl to do this. They can also do it without, but not with img tags. Anyway thanks i will ban it from the forum.

Oh and it's not the only bug we found. This is a great hack but it's really full of little and bigger bugs.

Sometimes in poker the screen stops or something and I was kicked out the game for no reason. Another bug is that users get huge amount of money or lose it for no reason at all.

And when you set lottery to 20 numbers, it keeps showing 25 numbers.

So it the author can please look at these that would be great.

You better get used to how the search feature works...you'll be dealing with it time and time again if your forum becomes successful.

Crazy things like that happen with FREE HOSTING. Consider upgrading to a pay host. You can find them for as little as 4.95/month- otherwise you will continue to have these kind of issues with addons.

It's partially a casino problem, but not entirely. If I misspell it e.g. http://thezoo.byethost12.com/casin.php , I also get redirected instead of seeing your 404 error page.

Fix the 404 error handling first (you may need your host's help for this), then figure out where your casino.php actually is, because it ain't in your root directory.

You are right about the 404 redirection - anything mis-spelled goes to that funky affiliate link.

I don't think he has the casino.php file uploaded to the right place.

The link is right.....The file is not there. Godfather, reupload the casino.php file to the SAME LOCATION as the calendar.php and faq.php file.

At this point you can run the cron job manually, Thats what i had to do
and after that it worked fine.

AdminCP > Scheduled Tasks > Scheduled Tasks Manager

Find "Casino Lottery Draw" in the list and click the "Run Now" button.

That should clear you right up :)

I also visited the developers site and it is very sad to see all the spammers taking it over :(
