I think you're the first person to ever ask me for money to help on vBulletin.

I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions. They were rather simple. But obviously something is not right. I can see the download in my plugins.. But I still don't see any sign of arcade anywhere on my forum (other than on the Admin CP under the plugins area)

I dunno. I've been paying out left and right for products and support lately.

It seemed like a nice way to recoup some of it in the form of beer money.

I have had the arcade installed in my 3.6.5 for a week now and it is amazing!! Great work!! I was wondering if there is a mod or a way for members to play each other? and, is there an upgrade to a better level, not that it needs it, but I've heard that there is a better level.

You can set up tournaments but I do not think you can have head to head games. But I sorta recall mention of it somewhere on here do a search. Check your version number latest is 2.6.1 I'm pretty sure your up to date.....

OK, it took me awhile, but I did it and am a complete neophyte. The only problem I had was that I looked at the wrong "install file" in the directions. Probably something others have done, but if you take a minute and look carefully at the files that should be avoided.

Confused.

I have 100 or 200 games to install at one time and didn't have a problem.
I uploaded about 700+ more and clicked install all and now get this error:

Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0. in /arcade/functions/tar.php on line 794

I so I started to do it one by one and got it down to about 500 and still get this.
I sure don't want to do it one by one for over 500 times...lol ... and I still have a 1,000+ plus to upload.

Any suggestions?

yeah the max size is to big...ive had the errors..but the games downloaded ok..i just resized them so it wouldn't take up the screen.

Can someone tell me the available mods or upgrades for 2.6.1 and a place to buy games for it, I mean the good stuff!

I have uploaded the files and now I have no access to my web site anymore! I uploaded all files which were located in the upload folder. Just a blank page appears now!!!
Does anybody know what I did wrong? I have the latest vbulletin and vbseo versions

I added this mod to my site, then uploaded a bunch of games. This really keeps the people on the board alot longer. Its the talk of my board. Excellent Modification and very easy to install.

where can I get more games?

Well now after manually adding about 200 or more I get this error when trying to install the rest...which is only about 300.

Warning: unpack() [function.unpack]: Type a: not enough input, need 100, have 0 in /arcade/functions/tar.php on line 750


I have no idea where line 750 is at...and there are more places that say 0 than I can count.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try installing in blocks of 50 at least to get around the bad one.

I did a google search at got this far but still don't know what's wrong.

I looking at the code, I'm guessing it's not a permissions thing since I know what that error looks like.

Looking at the tar.php I think that's where it tried to untar your game.

Do you have a valid tar file? Maybe you did not upload in binary/auto mode?

I'm guessing you have an invalid tar file in there.

but when i do this step
click SAVE and edit the Template navbar (below "Navigation/Breadcrumb Templates")
and search for

it does not find it.
i am usein the blak-ice theme and dont know where to add it so it shows in the navbar.
i tried it in the default theme and its works but i wanna use the blak-ice theme.
i realize i would have to make a button to look like the theme but can someone plz help me out:confused: :confused: :confused:

i instlled this as well as another arcade system and have the same problem with both in Comments after playing a game if any text is put acertain smile from my forum between each latter any cue why this happens?

how can i add more games

Go to a game download site, and use admincp -> arcade -> add games to install them. A thread with a list of sites can be found in the support forum linked to at the top of this thread.

I posted this in the support area but never heard from anyone on possible problem

We just did our first tournament on my arcade - The person who established the tournament set it to have 5 tries per round.

I noticed a few people have played one or two games each and I played all 5 tries. When I go to view the tournament it shows how many times people have played but next to where it says "best score" it shows 0

Any ideas?

If I try installing all games, it comes up with this error..

That is a server setting that can be increased. Contact your host.

If you are the host check your php.ini file in the "; Resource Limits ;" section.

I am trying to update my version.

I have uploaded the files `(overwritten) and updated the .xml file shown in the root of the archive, yet the version number still shows the old number.
