Ah, thx a lot for the screenshot. This was a relevation to me.

I was missing the admin menu in my navbar. After re-reading the first thread I found the solution under "known bugs". :D

Don't think I've added any conflicting mods since getting the media player working, I've now done an upgrade to 4.9 but still no difference :(

When I try and import the new product, I get a page of crap...the first line or so is:

You forgot to upload the /includes folder from the new version. There has been a change in the media datamanger and you didn't upload the change, hence the error. User error.

I noticed a note about VSA stuff in known bugs and a work around. What is the story on AME and this product?

Yeh, seems to have done the trick.

Quite why the software broke in the first place is the mystery but the fix works.
