Thanks. I've found an alternative I think.

bananalive...

Just found out this mod fails when using W3C's CSS 2.1 validator. The vBa addon module fails as well. I've posted there, too.

On the upside...it's XHTML compliant.

Do you have a fix for the CSS issues?

After an article is read, the title of that article remains bold. While viewing the articles forum it is impossible to tell what has been read and what has not. I do like having the title bold as it helps it stand out but is there a way to show something that distinguishes between read and unread articles (threads)? Not sure how possible this is but maybe changing the color of the title would be an option?

anyone know a way to get the article authors avatars instead of the article attachments to show at articles.php?

Just installed this, created a test article and ran into a problem.

I'm using FireFox 3.5.

I get a script timeout error anytime I try to read one of the articles. This includes right after you save it and you're taken to the article. So basically anytime you try to view an article on showthread.php this happens. It doesn't happen to my standard forum threads.

If I hit Cancel on the script timeout popup, the page then loads from what I can tell successfully.

I've scoured this thread and the mod, but I can't seem to see where it assigns the variable for the page title.

Right now it's set to the articles variable. I'd really like to set it to the same as everything else in the forum, which is the forum title + the articles template tag.

Where is the page title set in this mod?

BUMP: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=765

By the way, the reason why it fails CSS is due to the thumbnails. If I disable these thumbnails from showing, the product validates for CSS.

Additional css has been added to allow compatibility with older browsers, such as internet explorer 6. For me, displaying the content properly across as many browsers as possible is paramount to WSC saying the CSS is valid.

I'll modify it to show only bold when it's unread, for next version.
