you need to upload the 'misc' folder to your other styles 'misc/' folder.

Dear All,

Don't hate me for asking this, but how do I "Change your administrator's usergroup to secondary"?

Pretty sure you goto your admincp, then to 'usergroups'. Then edit the admin one. You should see an option for primary and secondary usegroups. You can then select admin as 'secondary' using the check-box.

Support will be given only for People who clicked "Mark as Installed".
Please understand this step as I don't have much time for support and I want only support people who support me.

Why is it using so many queries?

Could you add a feature to PM a user when they level up, saying congrats and such :)?

Because it's querying many tables to gather all the stats. Strange that you are asking why it has so many queries and in the same post you are requesting more features ;)

Do you have made a custom award? If yes, check the Identificator - it has to be the name of the graphic. In this case your award has the identificator award (award_award.png), right?

I didn't use the CMPS XML files, either, as I do not know what to do with them. (I am using CMPS) Place them in the forum/includes/xml/ folder, or import them as a product, or Import Style XML File in templates ??

This is a CMPS XML Module. Load it as a module. Works only with CMPS 3.0 GOLD.

Also, what do I do with the .db files for award .png files? Do I upload both extra folders, or just one, and where? Do they require their own folders? (One .db file will overwrite the other)
This stuff needs documentation in your setup instructions.

.DB does not come with vBExperience. Maybe you are using a picture viewer that is generating thumbnails, like Windows Explorer?

any ideas?

Seems a problem with the language. Does this happen also on other hacks?

Currently no time for this. Espacially for vBA Links I don't have the product. If you need it, you can request a paid service for it.

Jonnycrick,

The only mention of primary or secondary on that page [cp-usergroup-admin] is:

Quote:

"Allow Users to have Member Groups
(Sets whether or not permissions from the user's member (secondary) user group memberships are inherited or not)"
This option has choices of yes and no. That does not sound like one is making admin a secondary user group, or I just don't understand the wording here. Maybe someone can explain?

The warning message on Vbexperience cp page says:

Quote:

YOU CAN LOSE YOUR ADMIN STATUS IF YOUR PRIMARY GROUP IS "Administrators"! CHANGE THE GROUP TO SECONDARY BEFORE YOU ENABLE THIS.
Does that mean change the Administrators group to a secondary group or classification? And if so where in control panel is that handled? The user page seems to be a better place to do that than usergroup.

Edit your details via AdminCP/User, set primary to registered and seconday to Administrators. I have activated this on my boards.

akame 05-08-2008 09:33 AM

Phalynx,

Thanks for the help. You mean my personal user details, setting my primary usergroup to registered and my secondary usergroup to administrators. Yes?

The settings of the usergroup permissions seems unclear to me.Can u define exactly how do we go about editing its option and parameters? Thanks

akame 05-08-2008 09:47 AM

Adam,

I think it is a matter of translation that is the problem here. We need literal step by step instructions for such a critical issue.
