No I haven't had the time to write a readme.

Writing readme for every part of the chatbox can took a lots of time and I am sorry to say that I don't have that kind of time.

About channel creation, what are the exacts steps, configuration you made ?

For the .DS_Store, being the owner of an iMac and iBook, I can hardly remove those files :D

These are files automatically added by apple Mac Os X system (hidden files), I can hardly remove them.

Same as for channels explanation, there is no manual.

However, about commands, once you have installed a command, you can see in the chatbox help (? button) few instructions on how to use the command :)

Some commands works directly through menu items but some must be typed.

Perhaps I will see in an upcoming version if I can make a kinda completion system that would help knowing command syntax when typing a new message.

I uninstalled this but I am getting errors like:

errors only happen after login and initial navigations. once im in and moving around for a while no error seem to get reported.

no i dont have any errors before but i will double check next time they happen.

I have noticed that now that I have installed two commends Announcements and Del when I click the little arrow that opens the little menu... If the menu is opened and the chatbox auto refreshes.... the little menu is closed and I can no longer open it with a mouse click. I have to refresh the entire page F5 to get the little menu to work again.

This is very easy to repeat on my forum. It happens every time without fail. For those who have their chatbox refresh rate set to happen quickly this will cause a nice problem for users. Also, if a user tries to open the little menu and it happens to be just before the refresh the menu is closed and they cant open it again until they refresh the entire forum.

Is this a bug? Sure seems like it.

Also, I don't seem to be able to setup the new message alert feature. I am not sure how it should work...?

Yes the bug about the menu has been reported to me already.

About the alert, when active, it makes the channel buttons blink upon new message in the inactive channels.

It is a normal vBulletin 3.6.8 Patch Level 2 forum.
Language is German and English, but it also does not work if I switch the language to English. If I try to submit a "+" as message, I only get an error message saying "Error: You must enter a chat!" which means that the plus gets filtered out. There are no other "+"-problems in my forum, only in the chatbox.
