In what subdirectory of my used style do I have to copy the sound files?

The sounds files are in \mgc_cb_evo\clientscript\sound in the zip file and that's where they should be on your server. It's only got 2 sounds. So you need to enable them in the admincp.

The sound files are on the server - there must be another issue. The sound is also enabled in the admincp - do you have a further hint for me? I do not use the standard style.....

I must be losing my mind. I have used this mod for many years, now have a fresh vb4.1.9 that I'm trying to install this mod on and I can't get it to display (forumhome or forumdisplay, above or below). I have it activated, set each usergroup permissions, have it activated in my user settings. I've even reuploaded the product and files just to be sure but no luck.

I activated the full page chat to test, and that does work.

Custom style/template you are using that's not inheriting settings from the other?

Nope, it's a fresh vB. Only "customization" I've done so far is install vBSEO. I disabled it just in case but no change. Also setting the chatbox to appear on every page under the navbar worked. Is there still a variable I could throw into the template, or was that only for vB3?

...it is working now - I found the issue at the first page of the mod......changing the path of the sound file:
