I found the helpful_answers template and a code bit which has the word color in it but when I changed the color it had no effect.

PHP Code:

<br /><hr size="1" style="color:$stylevar[tborder_bgcolor]/>
                <
vb:if condition="$vboptions[helpans_neg]"

I tested it with:
style="color:000000"
and
style="color:#000000"

:(

Which color are you looking to change?

Something like grey/silver so the mod text looks a bit more transparent. Still readable but not irritating the reader of a post.

Try this: #41383C

But let me know where exactly you change it in case it's not the 100% correct color.

Thanks. ;)

Is this working for the blog also? I mean, for the comments that users give on a blog entry?

Hey. Thanks for this mod. I'm testing it out on our dev site currently.

I had a couple of suggestions that would help us immensely.

(If these features don't already exist) Can you add a function to disallow rating of posts by administrators/moderators? i.e. People cannot vote posts made by admins and mods, etc (or selectable usergroups).

Also, I would love for there to be an option to "view only helpful posts in thread" or something. For example, if I am using a positive only system, a user could select an option to only view posts that have been rated as helpful, and leave everything else invisible.

The point being (whether using a negative, or positive only system) users who wanted to, could easily cut to the meat of a thread, and ignore the noise by choosing to view only posts in the thread that have been rated helpful (either at all, or an admin set minimum number of positive ratings)

Thanks.

Your code changed a line break... so that wont do much. Are you looking to change the font?

I have a small problem with this mod. In posts/threads where the rating system appears, the correct white background is screwed up, and some tables/divs appears smaller or larger than they are by default, without this mod.

This may have already been asked but to save going through 50 pages I will ask now.

I have noticed that users can only rate one post per thread. is there a setting to allow users to rate many posts within a thread?

You should be able to rate as many posts in a thread as are within your ratings allowed per day variable.

Thanks Sticky. Where would I find that? I cant find a setting in helpful answers or reputation settings.
