how could i do to view and downloads only human guest for fo spiders/bots without setting fromuser group

I search in big G and here too, but i dont find the right informations to remediate this.

I search the original, the standard template, i dont find this line, thats crazy.

because its slightly different in the new template, you will need to have a good look
im sure its near or at the top of the template then you just add that below it :)

man, i have read through most of the responses here and cannot seem to find a fix. i keep getting the error for 'maximum upload limit reached'. all of the usergroup permissions are set to -1 which is supposed to be unlimited. downloads directory is chmod to 0777. is there a fix that i missed somewhere in the thread?

You are probably reaching the maximum php upload limit set by your webhost. This is covered in this thread quite a few times. You might even wan to go to your webhost's forums and look for the solution there as it has nothing to do with this mod, but your server settings.

Does anybody know of any mods or addons hooks that allow premade screenshots to be added to the description field? 200 threads is a lot. :)

is this setting per file? cuz im trying to upload a file that is 970k in a zip and they are saying that by default it is set to 32mb on my server.

very strange. if i log in as another 'mod' or 'admin' user, i can upload. it is just my master account that i always use. i checked every group settting that I am in, and they are all set to -1 for every limit. this is strange.

...is there any way to get the import function for the Mod-Control Panel too, so Moderators and Supermoderators can import Files from a FTP-Folder on the Server, and i don?t have to grant them Admin-Level?

Ok, i can create a (Sub)domain for the FTP-Folder, so you can set the link instead of import, but this links can copy directly, and will be used from other places than my forum!!!

Yes. You have to run version 5.08 though. If you have problems, try to revert manual changes to templates you made for Downloads II.
None are needed with version 5.08.

all members exceed daily upload and and download does not go away after 1 day. the user permissions for the group are set to -1 one in which says no limit

Is it possible to use it on a different server as the vB? The downloads make much traffic and thats why i wont install it on the same server an the board?

nvm. figured this out on my own.

I keep getting the following error when i upload larger files:
I have put the .htaccess thingy already in the root and followed all other instructions i could find on the internet but without any succes. It also happens if you upload a certain amount of pictures as attachement.

Any ideas how to solve this?

i just simply edit the download link beta 2 to beta3 and it actually worked

I decided to move my 'Downloads' directory outside of the website. All the downloads/uploads work perfectly.

But when i try to add images to the uploaded files, the links are broken. For some reason the image urls are including my absolute path like:

http://www.domain.com/home/usr/blah/.../image3434.gif

Anyone found a fix for this?

Have a small problem. I have created a new download, but linked to a file held externally in a secure area. Consequently the URL begins with an 'https://' Well, for some reason this is misinterpreted by your mod, and modified to 'http://https:// which of course breaks the link.
Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Heres one for you guys, i'm trying to replace certain characters from the 'file title' with spaces. It was quite a simple procedure for the forum but the code i used will not work with this mod as it doesnt appear to use functions_newpost. People having problems with the security token should have a look if they have version 5.08 installed.
If yes, try to reinstall. Reupload all the php files and take care your ftp client uploads them in ascii mode. Then reinstall the product xml file and remember to set overwrite to "yes".

The 5.08 version IS updated with the 3.7.x security fix.
So if you get the security toke notice, something went wrong while installing or updating.
