Go to your main forum and left click on the persons name. You will be able to directly challenge them in the Arcade. They will need to accept first.

at the bottom of the V3 Arcade main page? I would LOVE to have this addition...but not sure whats needed. Im positive the data is collated somewhere on the database.

I still can't believe he closed the forum for the release of 3.7.

I want an arcade on my forum, but don't want to install v3 Arcade if I can't dowload anymore games for it.

as vBulletin 3.7.0 is about to come in the next few days, we all will see if this announced new v3arcade will be "on time" and promises are getting true this time :)

I don't see any reason why posting in this thread should not be allowed. I just told what I think, nothing more - I personally see this project abandoned, which is a pity.
v3arcade is a fine product for sure, I also offered John details about the v32-scores and other new additions to the new games to make v3arcade compatible.

There is no word about something else than v3arcade, so I don't see doing anything wrong when participating in discussion here, but anyway... I visit this less frequently and will try to keep calm if you feel better then ;)
But I will keep straight and post if I think to do so, and also don't use any anonymous username, second account or something like this - don't need such things... :)

when i challenges another user i can only play thoose v3arcade games but not the ipb ones that i have imported.

Yeah, for some reason only v3arcade games are listed.

You can edit the arcade.php file and change it to include both v3arcade and ibpro games

In arcade.php find:
change it to
/SK

In the template arcade templates -> arcade_ajaxsearch
Find:
Replace it with
/SK

these are for ibp board but i use them on my site works like a charm.

John Ur a legend! I cant beleive it. I was trying to use 3.0.3 in my 3.6.8 Patch Level 2 Vb when i found the 3.6.1 :D This works perfect on 3.6.8 Thank you so much John! Ur a legend m8! This is much better than IBproarcade. I never needed help with this. I reckon anyone who wants an arcade shud use this!

Is v3arcade working in 3.6.10 ? Since the latest update I think it's stopped submitting scores

I got an email from john a few months ago saying he's working on a new version of the arcade for vb370 .. may not be v3arcade but something new. for when it went gold. So my guess is since we're gold hopefully we'll hear something soon.

In The bit where u add a game what do you mean "point your browser". I dont know wat u mean?

OK how can you challenge someone I cant find it, I checked the arcade and I checked the user profiles and I dont see the option!?!?!??!?

Its not a default option in the profile.

To challenge first of all make sure it's on via the admincp then go to that members post and challenge them from there also to challenge via profile put this link somewhere in ur MEMBERINFO template I put it next to the $userinfo[username].

can someone plz help me. i dont know how to add games? i put them in the right places but i dont know wat it means when it says "now point your browser" and delete the script

Seems like you are following old instructions.
Instead, copy the files to the admincp/games/ folder and run the mass import function from the admincp. (v3 Arcade -> Game Tools -> v3 Arcade Mass Game Import)

IPB arcade has this, but it looks like V3Arcade isnt so good in this area. It MUST be possible though as the individual count of games is noted in admincp.

Why a new version? Current version works fine.

Well It would be good if some of the more useful addons were rounded up and placed in the default installation of v3arcade as usually when a new version comes out its either completely new or you have to reinstall at least some of the older features I hope this doesn't happen with the new version which I know is being touted on the official v3arcade site.

Either way v3arcade has always been my favourite Arcade for vBulletin

This somehow manages to be the best arcade for vBulletin while simultaneously being the least supported and updated.

As long as the community is supporting it. Its still supported I mean skhms has some mods that allow you to play Ibpro V3.2 games on the v3arcade for vbulletin and of course the tournament addon for v3arcade :)

I just got VB 3.7 and I plan to wait for the new version of V3. I had the other one IBP and while it was ok, I would really like an updated arcade thats specifically for V Bulletin. I've actually made my own lil hack for my board. Its the Sega Arcade. My board is http://www.shittyart.net/BBS/

Its the link that says Sega. Theres not much to it so its nothing really impressive.

Don't you get a Security Token error if a user edits their arcade setting from their control panel?

I had to make edits to fix that by adding the following to all the forms.

vBulletins upgrade script did that for me.
But I guess you need to do it yourself if you do a new installation of v3arcade on a v3.7 forum.

Ahh, that makes sense. I did remove it after the vb3.7 upgrade and do a fresh install.

I Installed the arcade and everything seems to be working up until i got to the link to the arcade.php ... it brings me to a permissons page.. where i see the following example:

My question is how do i change permissons on the .php i mean i am the admin and owner of the whole site so why cant i veiw it.. is there add on i need to change the permissions on the arcade becuase it does not pop up under the permissions section as a bulletin because its a .php file..? any help would be a appreciated?...

Thats because those permissions don't refer to website permissions it refers to usergroup permissions

In admin CP Click on Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > choose the usergroup you wish to allow permissions for.
