edit the phrases....for example...
if you wanted to edit the black ribbon, you would edit the phrase...

I just installed this (3.5.4) a few days ago and now some of my members are getting database errors while logging in. This happened to me once yesterday as well.


Each time I have to go into phpmyadmin and erase the vbbux, vbbank and
vbp_nextbankinterest cells in order for them to be able to log in. I probably dont need to erase all 3 but it works.

Hopefully someone can help me with this quickly so I don't have to go through restoring all of the permission settings back again that I changed for this mod to work. That took a whole day to figure out lol

Try reinstaling with Allow overwrite set to yes.

Just reinstalled again.. I guess now just wait and see if anyone still has the problem.

You need to do the template edits to 'postbit' or 'postbit_legacy' above to get the results to show in postbit

My users are having a hard time using this because it's not compliant with IE. is there any plan to have some simple html links so make it more compatible with all users?

The item active is set to use, and all the permissions are yes for adminz and im admin and it dont work!

Alright this is weird, when i activate Administrator and Moderators permissions catergory's those work, like i can buy items, but not the others? I set the permissions in user groups AND catergories please somone!

Is anyone having issues with gifts not showing in postbits?

I can see mine, but this member has one, but it doesn't show up, but it shows up in the memberinfo. Then I bought one for him, and that one showed up in postbit but 2 now in memberinfo.

Any ideas? I did rebuild gift postbits.

Just set the permissions in categories unless you REALLY need to override every item.. The only one that you REALLY need to override is the admin donate

You did redo your postbit template? Right? Remember the original ebux instructions wouldnt have you adding a ribbons postbit edit since it used to be its own separate hack/addon.. Make sure the old postbit template edit for the ribbons is gone

I fixed the permissions for all catergories and it still dont work.

I didnt know if it would fix it or not, but it simplifies it for you.. Did you go into each option and change the option to not override category permissions? From what you said, it sounded like you changed it there to override...

I did for ONE item, would this effect all items? Well and its reading from the eBux table so i dont know if it thinks i really have money, but it doesnt even let me get a bank item which is FREE.

I know you have the option to select "Change Always". Where the user buys it once and then can change it for free if you enable that for the changeable items. But I dont want this, I want them to buy it again if they change there mind, but for this to work, they need to have a preview of what there name will look like with the change username color, glow, bold etc.

Have a preview box, so when they go to buy a username color, glow, bold etc, they can see what it will look like. Very important when they are trying to find the right glow for a certain username color. I remember ushop used to have this, and i have so many members requesting this on my site, could this be done in the next update?

edit, Just upgraded from 1.22 to the latest. It went smoothly. The template edits look way better now because they will be easier to find in the future.

However i'm still getting the error of You are not allowed to view Lottery Winners. But i think thats just a permission problem that i need to fix up after the update.

i had the same thing happen to fix i went to Fix all gifts,the default Number of users to process per cycle is 1000,I set mine to 10000 then clicked process and all showed up

I am having the problema (after upgrading to the latest version today), that all my Users are getting an error message, that their post includes too less characters. I have limited it to 10 characters minimum and I have tried it with a text including 20 to 200 characters. I am getting the same error message. I have disabled the Extension and now it works again. Does anybody has the same problem?

Ok..... Got it installed but now when trying to change usergroup permissions I get this:

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'ebuxestorepermissions' in 'field list'
Error Number : 1054

Any ideas?

search for only 'usereferrer' That word will only come up once in memberinfo Then you will be able to do the edit more easily.
