why won'tthe games install?

Hi all

i installed this arcade and i thought it had gone smoothly until i tried to test it, i click on arcade and the page loaded with the games though when i click on anything else it gotes to a url like www.mydomain.com/forum/arcade.php NOTE: my domain name is my forum, when i goto www.mydomain.com this opens my forums as i have my forum in the root directory, how would i go about fixing this issue? my url should be www.mydomain.com/arcade.php

It's no where to be found in the file. I am posting below my exact navbar template, so someone can hopefully tell me where to place the code.

My Template:

Some styles have the nav bar in the header, specailly old styles
for exampl?e in my forum i have 5 styles, in 1 of them i had to put that in the HEADER

On the flash games site I select postnuke and get a zip rather than tar and can't find how to intsall the games. Where can I get some or how do I install those ones?

Small problem or two, some games when high scores are achieved direct to the wrong url, eg, /forum//proarcade.php, any suggestions, also I don't seem to be able to switch games off and edit them at all in the games via admincp, I just get the message that this game already exists.
I have upgraded to 2.6.1 and reloaded the .xml file twice to try an overcome this, no joy though.

many thanks great arcade other than these small problems.

welcome back zero..any idea why the games not installing now? they all get uploaded to the tmp folder.

Many thanks for you prompt reply, the edit problem is fixed (great work) the other problem still exists on one or two games though, it seems the redirect to save scores is incorrect, any ideas?

I think I might switch to ibproarcade for our forum very soon, there is not development (new features) for v3arcade since ages.
Testing ibproarcade now.

Does the convertor works fine from v3arcade to ibproarcade ?

Love the Mod But I have one small Question.

I'm not getting this: as I'm not sure if I need to add it.

If you are using vbAdvanced Portal and your /index.php is not the original one from vBulletin,
you have to edit your alternate index.php:

open index.php

My site is like this

www.mysite.com/vbadavanced.index.php

www.mysite.com/Forums/index.php VB

www.mysite.com/Forums/arcade

I was not sure if I need to edit index.php in the root of my site

I uploaded all giles to the correct folders & did template changes, arcade shows up, but not in admincp. So this is dead in the water for me til I figure out why its not showing up on the left, & yes I added arcade.php to the admincp folder. Please tell me what I need to do to get this to show in the admincp. I cant set privlages.

when i play a game it send me back to this page

but it shows the portal page index. why is that? i cant get to the high score page.

1) visit AdminCP -> Arcade -> Information it will detect the portal and show you what to do
2) please use support-forum for future questions and remember to click INSTALL ;)

Right click on it and CHMOD it to 0777 meaning changing the permission of it

With your FTP program, you have to CHMOD the files/folders or some programs use the terminology ATTRIBUTES.

Basically its setting the rules to make the files/folders READABLE or WRITEABLE or EDITABLE or all 3 or 2 of the 3 or whatever. Its basically setting permissions.

What ever program you used to upload everything, try RIGHT clicking the arcade folder and see if in the pop up it gives you an option to CHMOD or to SET PERMISSIONS or to SET ATTRIBUTES.

Hi, I've a problem... navigation under arcade doesn't show tags link: http://www.flunkme.com/arcade.php?

The only problem I have with the latest version is when you play the v32 games in the same window for a second time it will not send the score. What you have to do is open the game in a new window each time you play, which most people won't automatically do so they will lose their scores. This tends to excite them and make them break things.

This is error message a visiting non-registered person get to the board but from the messsage it looks more if the games aren't functioning. I want to change it to something stating that they need to register before playing...

I am also trying to search for this error message.
