To get support, you need to to click "Mark as Installed"

Please reinstall the "vBExperience 8WR Media Library" Addons.

Will take a deeper look on another board of mine as on my board this goes well.

Kk Marked as Installed, but that does not fix the problem :(

Currently not supported on navbar. If you remove the permission for guests on the memberlist, guest cannot view vBExperience.

I disabled it globally and then made my own link for it. That was the only way i could get around this.

Now i have a question.
I cant give awards from the award.php?do=manage link but i can when i am logged into the ACP. I get no permissions page. Thanks.
I am obviously Admin.

There is no award.php in vBExperience! Manage Awards can only be done via AdminCP, Experience, Manage Awards.

Uninstall or disable it until I can take a deeper look on my own testforum.

Did you tried the tipp already to do the calculation once in the night?

This really depends on your server.

vBExperience has won the third time the Mod of the Month Award! Three times nominated, three times won. Thank you all who supported me!

Congratulation Phalynx, i knew it.

anyone install the plugin:
Code:

- New plugin for consuming points by downloading attachments ("pay" for attachments)
can confirm that this plugin work with your board and vbexperience?

I'm on a shared server. I have installed successfully. I'm trying to recount.

I can recount all options except Update Experience points.

I have about 4,500 members. I'm starting with userid 1. The default is 150 per cycle. I continue to get a sql error:

Quote:

Database error in vBulletin 4.0.5:

Invalid SQL:

P.userid, COUNT(userid) AS times
FROM thread AS T
INNER JOIN post AS P ON T.lastpostid=P.postid
WHERE P.userid=1
GROUP BY P.userid
ORDER BY P.dateline DESC, P.userid;

I've reduced the # per cycle down to 1. It doesn't matter what I put in there for # per cycle, I just can't update the points via recount. With my host...the longest that a query can run, is 15 secs. Anything after that will timeout.

What are some solutions? If I can't update my 7 year old board to take into account all the posts and activity my members have...then I don't think this mod will work right and I should just uninstall...right?

The error is causing by "Discussion Ender". Disable it by setting the points for it to 0.

Delete all issued achievements and recount achievements.

Also, I see that your members are mostly level 100. Please import another level product to fix this. Read more about this: readme_levels.txt

vbexperience_level_6_ultra.xml should be good for you.

apokphp 08-02-2010 10:22 AM

I'll try the above. Fooling around with it myself (and before I read your 2 posts...thank you btw)...I changed it to count only active users and set the time for 60 days. I did the recount...and it's working now.

Should I leave it like that since it's working? Or should I make the changes you suggested above?

Also, I actually have around 3,500 members. Yet Experience thinks I have around 5,200 or so. Why is this?

And given that I have 3,500...are you certain that level 6 would be more suitable?

Lastly...will importing a new level simply overwrite the existing level? I don't have to do any other changes (just upload the new level)? Seems too simple.

*edit*

Now it's saying I have over 6,420 members.

...few minutes late and it's up to 6,478...

http://www.onlinedebate.net/forums/x...o=achievements

I'm looking at the "Days Registered" stats.

Phalynx 08-02-2010 10:35 AM

Please click "Mark as installed", if you are using vBExperience, thanks.

If it's ok for you, leave it.

Even if you activated the active users thing?

Yes, Level 6 is more suiteable.

By importing another level it deletes the other one.
