Chnaces are it is something interfering and because I haven't seen anyone else having this problem agree with you that it is not your mod doing it...

What happens is if I try to edit anything in one of the forums, when I press save, instead of redirecting and saving I go to an unfound page...

I am going to try and disable a couple other mods I suspect of being the culprit and if I have no luck I will get back to you. I use the site as sort of a mod test bed and there are many, many mods installed so it doesn't surprise me that I am having an issue like this...

Check for plugins that use the forumadmin_update_save hook. It is the only one that runs during the save process for forums.

By the way, by having the forum over ride disabled I am only missing the options to edit for credit? Right? if that is the case it won't kill me really...

Unfortunatly so far I only see this mod using that plug in but I am sure it is one the mods I have.. No big deal though because I am not too worried about specific forum credits anyways....

Catch me on IM and we can look at it. If the plugin is disabled then nothing is being inserted in that place. If you have never edited the file specifically you can upload a new admincp/forum file from your vb zip, and see if that fixes it. You edit credits on a per-usergroup basis, in the usergroup editor. the forum overrides is for specific forums :-p i am also redoing that little editor anyway but thats in 1.4

2nd issue now:- I have installed the V3Arcade addon, but it's not working.
I have done the file and template edits, but it will not show anything in the arcade, when i go into the ACP i can change the credit costs etc... for the games for they have no effect.
I have looked at the screenshots, it shosw smileys etc... and credit costs next to the game titles, but none of this shows in my Arcade.

Please help as its driving me nuts.

Did you add the template hooks to your custom style? what version of vb are you using?

as for v3, what DOES show up in the arcade? did you make the template edits there too?

Ok, i have sorted all the arcade issues, well i think anyway?

Can you stop people playing the games if they dont have enough credit? I noticed that the credit for members can go into negative aswell, this alllows people to just keep playing and getting huge negative credit.

When i try to donate to someone, it say 'invalid amount specified', even though i have put various different amounts in.
i have done all the template edits for the style and had no luck with the 'manage credits'
I even added the seperate one that appears at the bottom of the install text.

Credits only go negative for things like deleted post credits. it still checks if you have enough in the arcade, and kicks you out if you dont. it would be kinda stupid if it didnt.

are you donating to a test user which you created?

You are running an old version of vb which means your usercp plugin needs to be switched to another hook, however

you have a bunch of issues which I would rather help you with all at once by having a look at your board. talk to me on IM
