Gah! These repeated template mods are driving me nuts! Reverting the templates doesn't work, because that would mean losing all the other changes made. I'm hoping there's no major issues with this one, because I'm not doing that again! :D

also just wondering if vbBux / vbPlaza v1.5.0.1 Has the option for only admin to set the amount of points per attachment.

Kind of how it is now, but instead, if they pm me, i will set it up and I will put a reasonable amount of points for the attachment, then when someone downloads the attachment, the user who made the thread get the points.

If that dont make sense i will go into more detail.

i had the same problem...it seems to be something to do with the way a board displays .PNG images.

bit of a ballache, but try to do wot i did...and rename ALL the images in the categories, and options, to .GIF...
they display then....

some ppl get this problem, most dont.....think its the way the image libraries work....PHP version perhaps???

having a weird problem here. I upgraded following the instructions, however somehow ebux/estore did NOT uninstall correctly, so now in my usergroup manager there's a section for it (with blanks since the phrases where deleted), besides the vbstore/vbbux section.
Problem is it attempts to update the now non existent ebux tables, and obviously returns a mysql error. Therefore I can do NOTHING right now with my usergroups.

Help, please!

I have add and/or replaced all the code mentioned.

I have uploaded all the files to the necessary folders within the upload folder and also installed the plugin.

But I still receive this message:

I have also looked through all the user groups for options but there are non.

The only options I have are the ones in vBulletin Options which are "vbPlaza settings" & "vbBux settings" both of these are turned on and I have checked the options many times and cannot find anything wrong with them. :(

Has this happened to anyone else?

OK I'm upgraded to VBPlaza. All is good. Can you make it so the store works in IE, it's a pain to have to load up Firefox each time i want to buy something. My users keep complaining too.

is that not usergroups->usergroupmanager->edit the usergroup you want-> adjust the vbBux vbPlaza Permissions there and then it should work m8

I had problems with Firefox, too. And now that it's installed, I get blank pages when I click on "Edit vbPlaza Options."

something went wrong with the upgrade and the permissions are messed up.

Go through all your vb settings and also look in the usergroups.

It all works. There is just no docs to help out.

Steps to get vbBux/vbPlaza working.

1. Go to your admincp --> vbBux --> Manage Settings and go through all the settings here. They are pretty self explanatory. Make sure 'Enable
vbBux Points System?' is YES.

2. Go to your admincp --> vbPlaza --> Manage Settings and go through all the settings here. They are pretty self explanatory. Make sure 'Enable vbPlaza System?' is YES.

3. Go to your admincp --> vbPlaza --> Manage Categories. Make sure the categories you want to display in the store are set to yes and click 'Save Settings' at the bottom of the category list. Then edit the categories you will use and make sure you set the 'Allowed Usergroups' to the usergroups that can see that category.

3. Go to your admincp --> vbPlaza --> Manage Options. Make sure the options you want to display in the store are set to yes and click 'Save Settings' at the bottom of the options list. You can also set some of the option settings here also. If you want to override the main category settings for an option you need to edit that option and set 'Override Category Permissions' to YES and select the groups you want to have access. If you don't need to override the main category settings leave this set to NO.

4. Go to your admincp --> Usergroups --> Usergroup Manager. Edit your usergroups. Scroll all the way to the bottom and look for 'vbBux vbPlaza Permissions'. Make sure 'Can this group purchase vbPlaza Options?' is set to YES if you want that group to be allowed to purchase options. The other settings are self explanatory.

I'm having this same problem.

The buttons work in Firefox but not IE. The paths are correct, I can see the source point to "images/vbplaza/bank.png" for example. When I copy and paste the url the image shows up.

I think it has to do with the AlphaImageLoader... which I think is Microsoft's way of displaying transparency in PNG files.

I installed a PNG transparency plugin called "PNG Alpha Transparency with MSIE 6" (check your installed Plugins).

When I disabled it, the images showed up fine.

I have also checked all the other user groups and this section is no where to be seen.

Sounds like it did not install fully. Make sure all the files were uploaded and overwritten and maybe reinstall the product makeing sure that Allow Overwrite is set to YES.

Just in case someone had the same problem I did about estore not uninstalling completely, I just manually added a column named `ebuxestorepermissions` to the usergroup table, and it's working.
It's certainly a dirty fix, but I needed to get that working ASAP.

I'm upgrading from eBux/eStore and I'm having a problem finding what to replace with the new template edits. Does anyone happen to have the old eBux/eStore template changes so I can revert them and start over with vBPlaza template edits. I would just revert the whole file but I have other edits and not just eBux/eStore. Hope someone can help. -Dylan

Just noticed a problem after an install of the latest version 1.5.0.1

When a user buys a ribbon or gift, they get charged for it. When the page is refresshed or the user goes to any other page, the money is given back to them.

Should this be happening?

If anyone else gets this error, rebuild the datastore and bit fields and it clears... well it did for me.

I also want to edit what the ribbons are for. Anyone got any idea how to do this?
