Just figured I'd wait until Magnus releases the next version & fix it then or wait until my host upgrades GD, which would be a better option.

My host told me on the 11th that the upgrade would be complete by the end of that week, however, now they're saying it may be done by summer. :ermm:

It is indeed. Extensive modifications to templates is the way to achieve something like that. :rolleyes:

A couple questions, I read through this thread and didn't see 'em asked.

1, Is there a way to make it so only people that are logged in can see the vBGarage?

2, Is there a way to tie into the custom User Profile Fields? The reason i ask this is becuase I already have members using this to associate their cars, years, colors... and which state their from.

3, what is the acceptable minimum to donate, and have the powered by removed... $5, $10+?. (i'm really low on cash :()

Replace all instances of [high]imagecopyresized[/high] with [bigh]imagecopy[/high], unfortunately, that's the only fix at the moment. The next release will use the vBulletin attachments system, so this problem will be a thing of the past.

Yes. That is John's site, although, it's more of a rewrite from what he tells me than a template modification. Although, most of what's been done can be accomplished by template modifications.

Yes, the simple way is to simply hide the link to vBGarage from users who aren't logged in with in your navbar (or wherever you have it):

Hey guys, just wanted to check in and let you all know I didn't abandon everyone, lol. I've all all the parts ordered for my new PC and they should, hopefully, be in this week. I'm really sorry about all this, but some things (as much as I refuse to believe it) are just out of my control.. /sigh

Glad to see everything is running pretty smoothly.. makes me feel more confident about the stability of the next release. :)
