I do have one other question.
if I placed all of the 28,000 originals in one directory whilst keeping the original file naming convention, would your script import the originals to the respective categories using the information in the database?

It would certainly be worth a try, as long as they are named the exact filename as found in the DB.

Hello, I can import albums created with the default album fearture, but I don't see any options to create an album in the gallery [permissions are set correctly]
