With a default AME install on default vB, the largest flag one works for me OR your server does not allow for extraction (via cCurl or file_get_contents). Since the URL isn't resolving, I would guess the latter. Turn off the Extract Destination setting in your AME settings page.

HTHs

yes when i Turn off the Extract Destination setting in my AME settings the youtube videos working start....

so why it will not working with Extract Destination setting in my AME settings and how it can working start with Extract Destination setting in my AME

As per my above post, your server doesnt allow cCurl or file_get_contents. At least 1 of those functions are required to extract data from the target web sites.

That link was made over a week ago. Have you tried editing/saving?

Dear The Geek,

How to make this plugin work to parse video links on rss poster?

Thanks!

This is a great mod, however, is it possible to force AME to use a media bbcode or something? I'm sure there are some people who would want the choice of linking as well.

Edit: Nevermind, I see the posting option. Thanks!

New problem though: Any line breaks added in for formatting after any media parsed by AME gets removed.

As I said above, the media isnt validating because you have the extraction setting turned on, but your server doesn't support ccurl OR file_fet_contents via a URL wrapper. Turn off the extraction setting and/or remove the validation for the youtube definition.

Hey there,

I don't quite understand what you're saying here. Can you post an example?

Also, please click install if you installed it ;)

Thanks!

Do you mean using vB's function to post RSS feeds as threads? In theory it should work, though in all honesty I haven't ever tested it so it could require some tweaking. Can you please provide an example of the RSS feed you are using so I can test?

You can test any Youtube rss. Every day I run manually the rebuild tool of Ame to parse that links :/

Ok, Ill look into seeing how it can be supported in the next version (but can't promise anything until I have looked into it ;) )
