What? This adds branding site-wide?

Most major addon hacks do this in exchange for a massively functional yet totally free product, so that others who might be interested in it may acquire it for themselves, just as freely and easily as you do. Because this hack permeates the entire board it only makes sense to do it in the least obtrusive way, much like the regular vb copyright, and you may display it the same way that you do for vb. Standalone major addons (that are confined specifically to their own page or module) generally have a more pronounced single copyright on the pages they pertain to, but vBCredits pertains to the whole forum.

did you put the .1 in 'Time credits' or 'activity credits' :-p if there was something in time credits they get that regardless of activity, in addition to what they qualified for the activity credits.

I have "0" in Time Credits and ".01" in activity credits. It doesn't seem to be doing it as I reset everyone to 5 credits again (no one earned anything since my members don't seem to post). I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if everyone is getting credits for not posting.

I'll keep you updated on the situation if it continues.

Well, now it's stranger then I originally thought. I didn't realize the coin was supposed to open a drop down menu. Instead, it's just links me to a page with the with content of the drop down menu. What's weird, is that the only reason I knew that is because the two other skins are working fine. And I've checked the template code line for line. It's identical. Span tags are closed, even in the source code.

Ah, then that suggests you forgot to make the edit to SHOWTHREAD template (which includes the ajax JS file) to that style

And by automatically editing templates in 1.4, i meant manually >.< (assuming you dont have TMS) all of the plugin-inserting stuff was taken out and replaced with manual template edits because they are far more reliable. id say half of the issues ive had to help fix were style related - custom styles just dont usually keep the template hooks. But like I said, having to add them manually gives you better control over how they look, such as if you have to add a class to the div so it matches the rest of the style, much easier to do it in the style editor than hunting in the plugin and editing it 3 times :-/

Totally great mod and something I have wanted for a couple of my sites for some time....

I have a couple questions and I am also having a problem...

Question #1 - How can I mass pay everyone upon starting... I looked in the instructions and did not see anything. I don't have time to go through the entire 20 pages right now...

Question #2 - This is integratable with ICash bank or IBank or what ever... I am talking about the fairly new simple stand alone bank that is out... If this can be used with that how is integration performed? I tried before and could not figure it...


The main issue I am having is with forum manager. After installation I cannot edit any of my forums through the forum manager. Currently I have the credit system working but I have disbaled both forum credit override plug ins..

I am using 3.6.8 and a custom style. I had to do the custom edits.. Everything else works fine I believe...

3) what happens when you open the forum manager? if you disabled both plugins and it still happens, it isnt my hack doing it, but i wouldnt mind looking at your acp to help you figure out what is causing it. catch me on IM
