one issue I came accross though, when I give a RIBBON to someone it doesn't take off any points ?? is that normal ? this way you can give all the ribbons to anybody with out takng any points off... sounds like a glitch to me...

points not coming off yours or the person u bought the ribbon for? when I give ribbon, points do comes off for me and it shouldn't come off for the user u bought the ribbon for

This error is flooding my email box, will you please explain exactly where to search and replace? I see two instances of this and neither have a comma, is it supposed to be added to both? BTW, thanks for a great mod, the users on my site are really enjoying this. :)

In your Admin CP go to Plugin System (near the bottom on the left) > Manage Products and then at the bottom you will see [Add/Import Product]. Click on that and then browse your pc for that file and click the Import button. :)

Try usergroup manager, select the usergroup like admin and make sure it has "Can this group purchase estore options" set to yes.

My question.

i want to make a usergroup avaliable for secondary purchase.

I made the usergroup. Under the settings I put yes for "Can this group be purchased as a Secondary Usergroup in the eStore?" and then set a price.

However, when I go to purchase it in the estore, it tells me no groups are avaliable for purchase. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a setting?

I have had a look through all the user groups, also both settings in vBulletin Options> for the ebux and estore and I cannot find any options :(

eBux eStore Permissions are located at the bottom of the usergroup page. (IE: usergroups, usergroups manager, edit usergroup). If it's not, then perhaps your pluggin didn't install correctly.

well here is what I did I gave a RIBBON to myself that added the ribbon to my user info but it never charged me for it... so basically I can give myself as much as ribbon as I want with out getting charged a point .. !!!!! why ?

this is a great mod however there is a part of it that is conflicting with vbadvanced links dir....

with all options enabled and i try to view a link in my links directory it opens a blank new page

I went through looking for the plugin that was causing this as suggested by vbadvanced...they were actually thinking it was my p3tz mod, how ever it happens to be this, i disapled this one and the links dir. works perfect...

Only question, the ribbons imported/convertered over from 3.0.x, is it possible to convert the gifts over as well?? And the name colors etc??

I was able simply rename the uttpoints field to "ebux" and I got my points back. The bank also looks harder to simply rename. Is it hard to import the old ustore/ucash fields into ebux/estore?? (referring to the old gifts, name color changes, bank points etc)..

I have add and/or replaced all the code mentioned.

I have uploaded all the files to the necessary folders within the upload folder and also installed the plugin.

But I still receive this message:

I have also looked through all the user groups for options but there are non.

The only options I have are the ones in vBulletin Options which are "ebux settings" & "estore settings" both of these are turned on and I have checked the options many times and cannot find anything wrong with them. :(

With the WK football ahead it would be great to have a pool system to bet on the games with ebux points. If it is not to complex and user friendly then this could be a great addon for this summer. :)

I replied to this thread because that is a serious issue as it checked to see if THIS_SCRIPT was defined and in the newer version VB_AREA is what it checks to see which will always be defined using vB's global.php file.

Everything is working fine except the postbit displays. It seems to be VERY sporrattic on what gifts and ribbons get displayed. Some users get everything, some only a few, some get nothing. I've done the install to the letter, redid the templates, ran the postbit fixes. same thing every time. Memberinfo works without any problems, just the postbit. Been this way pretty much since a couple versions after the gifts were initially introduced. My next step is to completely uninstall, but, I'd rather not since my members would lose pretty much everything (with the exception of their cash on had since its in a non-ebux field). Any ideas?

Have you tried to "Fix all gift/ribbons postbit" from ACP? I did this sometimes with a very high value (20000) and they all showed up.

Is it safe to delete the estore file and folder? Since you renamed the files and folder? Just curious.

I am confused. Not that long ago I saw this at version 1.2.6. Now I see vbBux / vbPlaza v1.5.0.1. Is this the version for the addon or for the vbPlaza?

Due to possible copywrite issues, he changed the name.. And table names etc.. So it's more of a migration than an upgrade.. Although there are a couple features added... I suggest reading up before you download and do this

upgraded all working fine here.. do the old hacks still work now?

All I did was look at the original mod and reversed the steps for editing the templates and then followed the instruction for the new one.

I'm having a couple of problems. One is ongoing and one is recent, since I upgraded to vbPlaza/vbBux.

The first is the ongoing one, the option in the control panel to allow other usergroups to use admin donate simply does not work. It saves the changes, but users in the other usergroups besides admin can not use admin donate.

The second just arised with the upgrade. Every usergroup besides admin gets the notice "you do not have permission to purchase this item" when trying to view any item category, hence users cant use the vBplaza at all, except the administrator...

im getting this error on a skin what can i do to fix it? this is for the memberinfo template when replacing the ebux code for points and all that in profile im assuming
