php 4 has been unsupported and dead for close to two years now. You can't just keep running old software like this, you need to upgrade it!

He's right and its prettty easy if you understand how to use WHM.
php4 isn't supported by many major apps that are current.

Get MYSQL 5 and PHP5 and rock on.

Does anyone know the benefits of using a "Fan Page" over a "group" on facebook or vice versa?

Which is the best way to go? That's what i'm trying to figure out now.

wolfstream 06-01-2009 08:59 PM

Mykkal,

This is really not relevant to the application itself, honestly, except that it uses facebook, which is really not that uncommon any more.

The best place to get your answer for that specific question? on the facebook apps forums, as that doesn't involve vBulletin at all.

I figured everyone is pretty much using it for the sames reasons with vbulletin as I. Just wanted to know what these guys thought were best.

I'll head over to facebook.

I too will pay to have this app upgraded and developed on.

Just installed this - had a bit of fiddling about on where to put the "Connect with Facebook" bit, but worked it out after a few changes to the CSS!

Works great!

One question, there was a post about seperating members who sign up via facebook , how would i do this??

Cheers
Matt

Create a new usergroup, copy permissions from registered users, and put the id of that usergroup in the mod's settings where it asks for it.

I just want the pm and replied notifications only on facebook!

Hi, I installed this mod and opened an application on facebook following all the instructions: i can see the connect button on my forum but when i click on it nothing happens !!

I'm reading all the pages of this thread (im actually at the 26th page, but yet not find a solution...). I'll continue reading, but if someone can already help me it would be coooool !

wolfstream 06-04-2009 03:30 PM

@fulviods :
Go through all the application settings again, something isn't setup properly.
Make sure that you've got the right id/secret in the vBulletin settings, and make sure that you've got the right urls/domain in the facebook app settings. Those are the two important things that are missed when this happens.

@pericolosogr :
This is something that will probably have to be added manually, though you might be able to do this by not editing the newthread templates.
