Like I said over at Zoints, this is a great hack hindered by a total lack of vision. You claim to provide "networking solutions" but can't support other languages/characters and keep putting people off. At Zoints your staff has made it very clear that this is just not a priority which is the same as "we don't care". I've given up on this mod. :down:

My settings is, Require tags for new threads is NO
so mostly, thread dont have tags and i want make them auto with a Scheduled Tasks

Ive seen this many times, a good VB hack/mod will come out, then sooner or later it is dropped like a rock, zoints is still runing VB 3.5 so you know this has already gone down the crapper...most of the time it has something to do with not making any money.

one thing about VB hacks/mods, I think they are the shortest lived scipts ever...

I really couldn't tell you how to do that, it's a bit out of my forte, but I would suggest heading over to network.zoints.com and see if an engineer or someone else with that knowledge can't help you out if possible.

I hate to break it to you, but you're wrong here. Considering we just put out a release for Zoints Local (working on the feature laden one) and have an active support team that supports all of our products.... we are far from dead. Some have a problem if we can't solve a problem that plagues them and takes almost a personal offense to it, but Zoints Thread Tags is a product that works great for many communities and one we plan to continue to improve on for the future. It's no secret that we had a period of transition that was hard to bounce back from, but we pride ourselves on being honest and providing the best support we can. Dennis doesn't believe that we care about his issue, even though we have discussed the issue extensively in private, we just happen to not work at the pace he demands of. But if we could work faster and magically solve all issues, we certainly would as we understand the problems with modifications not being supported or developed any longer and we know how much we would personally like that from other developers.

Besides, I wouldn't be responding to you this quickly if this was a dead and forgotten issue.

maxicep, I would suggest asking over on the vB SEO forums. I know some have had that solution posted work for them, but I personally did not. I did an assortment of things (some posted on this thread or at our support forums and some on my own) but I really wouldn't be confident in relaying that back to you as I am pretty hazy on what I did. Being a vB SEO user as well, I know that there has been discussion about this in the past, so I would check to see what the group consensus on what to do is.

There is one modification (for the tags) posted at another vBulletin development forum (the name escapes me) but I am relatively certain I found it on a thread at vB SEO, so be on the lookout for that in particular.

vrom, I am assuming you tried Russian character replacements but they didn't work? If you haven't, please try adding a character replacement set.

Great just tested http://network.zoints.com/showpost.p...72&postcount=2 to fix the zoints thread tags to be rewrote by vbseo, works like a charm, if you can put this in futur release would be awesome, or at least make it optional , vbseo is really good product

Glad to hear it works for you. I know the engineers realize how important SEO is to a good tags system so I will note them on that fix to try out and possibly implement.
