could you tell me the variable or string i could use similar to the e.g ive given above where i can use to show "how many users are online" and have visited in the past 24 hours.

If you'd simply asked this then I could have answered you. I believe its $ftotaltoday.

We believe we have a relatively minor issue with this fine product. One of our members username is <^..^>Smokey Joe ... when his username is clicked from within the Total members that have visited the forum in the last 24 hours:, it takes us to another member whose username is Smokey Joe without the <^..^>. <^..^>Smokey Joe just joined and hasn't actually posted for us to test his username from within the postbit, but from our Member List, it takes us to the correct profile, therefore I'm assuming it might be a bug within this product that is not recognizing symbols in usernames.

Hi Paul... it's definitely possible, although I'm not sure how. Not sure when you'll see this, but if you go to our forum right now... http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/ you will see that <^..^>Smokey Joe is listed first in the Total members that have visited the forum in the last 24 hours: section. Just click on his username and you'll see that it takes you to the member Smokey Joe without the <^..^>. If there is nothing you can do about it, we can live with it, but on our forum it is a bug. You might try registering two similar users on a forum of yours with this plugin installed and see if it does still does it.

Thanks!

You don't appear to have this enabled for guests ...........

Anyway, I can see what your problem is - you are using VBSEO to rewrite the urls and it's failing to convert them properly, it's stripping the <^..^>. from the name so the link for <^..^>Smokey Joe is being converted to /members/Smokey-Joe.html. You need to contact vbseo about the problem - you can workaround it by changing your vbseo settings to use /members/[user_id].html rather than /members/[user_name].html

Yeah... this is a benefit of membership.

I see what you are saying about the rewrite... I didn't catch that, and surely it can be fixed.

Well you would need to ask vbseo about that, since their code is encrypted there is nothing I can do (allthough I have posted them a link to this thread).

I have a question and maybe you answered it in this thread but it's 48 pages deep and my eyes started to hurt but I'm trying to have it set up to where you can see the people who have posted today and the people who have posted or viewed in the last 24 hours. There's the options for the "rolling 24 hour option" and "auto template changes: who visited today." For some reason I can't seem to have both on the page at the same time; it's either the today's visitors or the 24 hour option. I've seen this on other boards but I don't know how to set it up. Is this 2 different hacks or am I setting it up wrong?

This mod is "who has visited", if you also want to display who has posted then that is a seperate mod.
