I have the last hack installed, and from last week I have a problem, when I push the icon I have one window open with this text:

That has nothing to do with this plugin you must have another plugin that is along the same lines as this one as none of then words or php coding is in any of these files like that

I installed everything correctly and I get the following error message when I try to like a post.

It is up to the operators of your Web server site to locate and analyze the logs which should give further information about the error.

I noticed that google records the thanks, thanked, times and posts text because it reads this data on every post and counts them towards key word totals.

Example: Thanks 9 Thanked 345 Times in 178 Posts

Google now has my top key words as these from this mod because every post contains them. Is there a way to hide the text output from Google spiders added by this mod in the postbit?

The only way I can think off hand would be to put a disallow in your robots.txt file

I am trying to simply the like display with a simple post counter beside the Like button. You press the Like button, the counter increments, the Like button is no longer clickable, and hopefully no text/imgs shift at all or too much. Is that possible w/o having to refresh the page?

I did manage to set it up (using vb 4.2.0) like this site with the horizontal blue bar. Works fine, except that relative and absolute settings are being a pain in postbit_legacy template and postbody section... mainly that is pushes the sig and last edited line up too much once there is a Like - I can set margin-bottom:60px or so on postbody, but does not look right with no sig or last edited line.

See this post, although if you only want the terms to be changed to like instead of Thanks just change the phrases as described at the top of the post. If you want the whole style to be changed so it looks like the screen shot then follow all the instructions :

If I only need to upgrade from 7.83 to 7.84 (using the zip from ForceHSS's sig) do I upload all the files again or just the XML with overwrite equal to YES?

I still don't understand y there is even a new version and files without the some fixes? why would someone want the version with out everything working?

You would have to read his snippy reply to me to understand this response. He has since deleted it. My original suggestion was that he clarify his responses, I never suggested posting in other languages.

At least not in this thread. I have however seen questions that were so badly mangled in English that I have suggested the author post it in their native language. I thought vb has been available in many languages for quite a while now? Is there really still a rule somewhere here about only posting in English?
