I can't get past this point to re-install then use the above suggestions....

How do I fix this?

Don't uninstall it. Just make your file edits. Run the sql files through phpmyadmin and make sure you'll check them all. If they give you an error dont worry because the table is already over there. fter finshing the file edits and sql files run the installer and install the hack. After these steps you cn sit back and use your shoutbox.

I get about 4 steps into the installer and get the following error messages:

Any idea what I should do to complete the install?

OK, I have really given up...I have tried everything step by step and now my board is all reversed...pictures, skins, blocks, everythings is now on the right side instead of the left....can't login, etc...

I uploaded all new vB files over the olds one....Ill wait until they fix this problem...OR find another type of shoutbox that will work...

One thing I have noticed is I have not seen one staff member comment on this issue!!!!

there're only two shoutbox - both sucks...

My Shoutbox is now auto-pruning every night, and I never changed any settings in the admin CP

I guess I'm going to have to uninstall this one, it seems like none of the developers are around to help anymore.

Iv'e installed it fine, and got it working. Anyone need help, let me know.

However I cannot see how guests can shout. There is no option that I can seee..
