There's an application signup question that your instructions don't mention :

Use Twitter for login: [ ] Yes, use Twitter for login

...so I'm not checking that box for now. Hopefully that's what I'm supposed to do.

Does anyone know how to get it to tweet the name of the post instead of "Check this Out"?

Yes, please leave that unchecked. I am not sure what that can do to your board, since no support has been coded.

There is unreleased experimental code. I have restructured my release goals, with the hopes of a faster release.

I can't get posts from my forum to show up as tweets on my twitter site.

On the Connections Tab in my Twitter Profile Settings I see a "No applications have been approved to use your account." message but I can see the application settings when I go to http://twitter.com/apps.

Any ideas on why my posts won't show up? I got the keys and put them into my vBulletin admin settings.

EDIT: Got it to work. Had to edit my User CP options and set it up to allow access.

"Once a user defines their Twitter username & password within their vB Options (User CP -> Edit Options), the Tweet This X links will appear."

That should be in bold print and underlined lol....in order to make this mod work, make sure to do this....:P

I'd love to have this too and maybe the first few words from the post.
so the 160 twitter limit is filled up automatically.

ok after playing little bit around with this add-on I have some feature requests *g*

Tweets like this:
breadcrumb - title - post teaser - link
filled up to max 160 characters
and the possibility to preview and edit the tweet before final submission

link (for the tweet) changeable in admincp settings for being able to add own, alternative short domain name

instructions for url rewrites via mod_rewrite

I would really appreciate that

Any chance of getting this for vB4.0.x? That would be awesome. Currently it messes up the edit profile setting page if installed on vB4.0.x. I didn't get far enough to see if it worked once the twitter account was set up in UserCp.

I have a question. When I download the .zip, I get loads of duplicate files. Which files do I upload to the server??

/me marks as installed

I get to the point where I see the Tweet this! over the message creation box, but when I click it nothng happens.
In my User CP I only find a "Setting up integration with Twitter through this forum will turn on any "Tweet This" feature on this site. Setup integration by clicking here." I click, get the message asking if I allow it, say OK, get redirected to my forum, and nothing more. I don't find any place where I can add my Twitter account info to my vB account.
Any suggestion?

Finally worked!
I had set up by mistake "read only", no wonder it didn't work...
