i installed advanced BBcode permission today and dunno suddenly chatbox has started behaving in a weird way. when every i type something it adds the tag to it i dunno why its happening please help!

I got this problem where the chat box is putting in an extra / on misc.php and IE will error if you click on a folder next to a username but works on firefox and I can't seem to find it in the code. Check BBURL setting in vBulletin options and update if needed.

If you set a particular group, or user with out X amount of posts not able to view chatbox or chat, they are still able to do so if the go to the FULL view of chatbox on:

http://www.site.com/forum/misc.php?do=cchatbox

I'm scanned this thread and googled for days... has there been any progress on this problem?

Ever since I've installed Cyb Chatbox, the forum page with the chatbox would not load on Internet Explorer at all. I get errors and a pop-up that aborts loading the page. It works perfectly fine on Firefox as well. I've disabled the chatbox and will probably uninstall at this rate... which is a shame, because my forum's Firefox users and I really love this chatbox. :(

^^ I have the same probem and have not been able to work out why its doing this, any help urgently is needed please. I'm having to find a replacement until a fix is found.

It worked on version 2.2 after uprgrading to 2.3 yday this problem happened. Uninstalled it and put 2.2 back on and then the problem for internet explorer users was still there..
