Any idea how to take someone to a specific room upon entering?

For example: forum/misc.php?do=flashchat&roomid=x

Edit: Like when having a room for 40+ along with the default list of rooms.

You can't do it, at least not via misc.php.

You can do it via flashchat.php?username=_int_&room=2 (or whatever room number you want).

This has probably been answered before but I would like to know why my users can't automatically log-in whenever they click the Flashchat link? They still have to manually log-in to Flashchat.

Can someone help me out?

There can be many of causes for that, without access to you system I cannot tell you which.
