I've gone to LDM/admin/statistics, as suggested. But I can't find the 'downloads' table. And how do I prune it?

Thanks.

1) Either
http:// yoursite / local_links_admin.php?action=admin&set=statistics
then "View Hits"
or, directly
http:// yoursite /local_links_admin.php?action=logjumps

2) Then enter a start and end date, display the records, and then select Archive and Delete.

Alternatively you can just use a utility like phpmyadmin to take a look at the database tables, and empty the local_linksdownloads table.

It's worth taking a look with phpmyadmin to get an idea of how big your database is and which tables are actually the large ones.

Ok, well I got YouTube working nicely, but I can't seem to get Google videos working at all.

The only other thing I've tried to do Andrew for YouTube, is set an icon for the file but it's not working. I altered the php code like so:
PHP Code:

            if(stristr($linkurl'youtube.com/watch?v=')) {

$linktypebit '<img border="0" src="http://www.amacny.com/vb/images/editor/youtube.gif" alt="YouTube Video" />';

$is_musicbox 1;
            }

Well, I created a plugin at ldm_linkbit_create (which is where I imagine you're attacking), and just used your code. It works fine for me, see image:

Hi AndrewD ,

I read it here some where that you show how to import file by scan it through the Server file folder .

For example : if I create 1 file name : "music_mp3" and store many mp3 there in the server , how can I use LDM to scan that folder ?

How can I do that ?

There are two ways:

a) you can do it manually
- create the LDM category that you want to use to hold the mp3s
- go to LDM admin/categories, look for that categpory, and click 'scan'
- use the 'scan in directory' drop down to navigate to the directory you want to scan (nb - you cannot get outside the directory space defined by how you have set the LDM settings 'local_file_root' and 'local_file_root_prefix' - by default, this is your web site structure, but you can change that if necessary)
- select the files of interest and go

b) you can do it automatically
- LDM admin/settings -> Category Synchronisation Controls + turn on 'sync_enabled'
- create the LDM category that you want to use to hold the mp3s, and enter the directory name that you want to synchronise with. If you want to sync with web site directory /mp3s, held at the top of your web site, then enter /mp3s in the box
- set it going. depending on how many files you have, it will pick then up in one or several visits to the category.

I still can't get it to work .

Can you check your PM .

Andrew... lol... actually it's working right from the local_links_include, but being the dummy that I am, I edited the linktypebit out of my template, I switched templates and there it is.
