Hi AW. Can you briefly explain what this IPN thing is. Not sure I understand.

Also, I have ibproarcade and vbcredits (w/ plugin) installed on my forum. I noticed sometimes when a game in the arcade is ended, the donation bar is bleeded into the arcade menu. Not a critical issue, but was wondering if anyone else noticed that and perhaps is there a quick fix? Again, not a critical thing.

For whatever reason, the "done" half of the donate bar will not allow me to change it's color in the hack options. I can change the background color for "left" but color changes do not affect the "done" part.

The bar is really hard to see due to this as the "done" half is the same color as the rest of my page.

Never mind just found it.

IPN = Instant Payment Notification

When a user clicks through from your site to paypal to make a donation paypal reports(posts back) back to your site through a script to confirm the payment with all the information regards to the donation transaction. This includes pending trransactions like echecks. If the member clicks through but does not follow through with the donation it will not show anyinfo and no member will show as donated. So there is no longer a need to check each user as confirmed by looking at your paypal account. Thats the basics of what it will do.

My donation bar just quit working... it won't show how much has been donated. :)

I hate to say it but I actually like the other donation hack better. :(

It is most likely because you have it set to "YEAR"... and all your donations were in 2007. yes? Same thing happened on my forum... Since the year now is 2008, donations in 2007 don't count anymore.
