Sorry to see that happen but it is inevitable. Too many people are getting too ansy waiting on a release. I had hoped to see this one beat v3Arcade on a release date.

soniceffect 10-24-2005 08:10 PM

To be honest, I was lookin at v3 arcade, and would like to test them both before decidin on which on to use, but I like the look of this one to begin with, so hoping this is a better release :) ....... Very much looking forward to it m8

Ski-Whiz 10-24-2005 08:10 PM

Well, the people grabbing that copy are just messing with their sites, and could possibly mess it up. As obivous NO support will be offered to them!

They just don't realize that if they don't know what their doing, they could crash their site. Not do permenant damage, just bring it down until someone helps them out. I'm referring to the fact if they have an old IBP arcade installed prior to this one..

I hate to see leaks!

micheal332001 10-24-2005 08:41 PM

I think anyone that downloads that file from there will have problems with it.
The reason i say this is the code might have been changed and could let in hackers to there site.
If it was me i would not download it as this is how hackers can get there code into your site and bring your site down with it.

If people just waited a bit longer im sure the release is not far away now.
Like mrzero said he is sorting out a few bugs in the arcade so anyone downloading that will have all the bugs that have been reported to mrzero.

tteal 10-24-2005 09:05 PM

Patiently waiting..............

Sooner95 10-25-2005 10:29 AM

as a RC2 tester, beleive he is working on it fellas. I for one have no problem waiting for a good product, the same for my members.

That is wrong, stupid too considering when there hosts update their PHP backend, they'll be screwed LOL... serves em right..

MrZeropage 10-25-2005 09:25 PM

RC3 just got spread to the testers, and I even added some more testers

I hope I fixed almost all bugs found yet ...

WonderWorm 10-25-2005 09:33 PM

Nice can't wait for the release. Thanks for taking the time to make it bug free for its initial release. :)

Paul_Hollibone 10-25-2005 10:36 PM

Can I ask MR ZERO, did you already have those testers chosen when you made the post on the page before, that you would be looking at some new testers, when I made my post?

Omega Prime 10-25-2005 10:59 PM

In case there's an extra spot or two left for testers, I don't mind checking this out ;)

Sooner95 10-26-2005 12:02 AM

Guys, have patience, based on what I am seeing in testing, this will be final very soon. Great Job Zero..

My only question is this. new user to IBpro.. only way to get new games is to subscribe to there forums right? (ibproarcadegames.com) This isnt a problem, just want to make sure..

also got tons of games from v3. these things have to be converted to tar for me to use them correct?

nitro 10-26-2005 02:43 AM

NO you can manually add games like v3 games with just the correct parrameters of size background color etc, the gname is usually easy to find in the v3game install file aswell as other info like size, upload the swf and images to their appropriate dirs. No need to make tar files for them. Im not even sure if ibPro supports v3 install files but it might MrZ will have to confirm that ;)

MrZeropage 10-26-2005 07:14 AM

no, the v3arcade-PHP-files won't work (they should even not be compatible with vB 3.5.0 I guess) but I think it could be easy to convert them to TARs by just using the correct naming for everything

Maybe anyone can test this "how to convert v3arcade-game to TAR" :)

@Sooner95:
We will see if there is another place for Games ... :) check out www.ibpgames.com

Working on it, not changing them to tars but just installing straight from the zip :)

Yep ive got it working, i can succesfully import v3arcade games via php , im just going to integrate with the admincp now :)

Sooner95 10-26-2005 10:41 AM

thanks, think i am set for games for now. Will play around with the v3 games i have see if I can get em to work.

just to confirm, yes you can use existing v3games..

sas stated before, upload the 2 gif images and swf to the proper locations. Then in the php file for the game. get the gname (title) game size, description. add game and boom, its done.

And yes they work. very cool. MR Zero, you have outdone yourself.

the v3arcade php files work in the new v3.5 arcade. John has them setup in the admincp to mass install.

JTyson 10-26-2005 03:07 PM

But this is the ibproarcade not v3arcade

micheal332001 10-26-2005 03:34 PM

mr zero what about the pnflashgames part of it thats still not working.
Also i noteced when in the admin categories you have the display order
you cannot change them they are all set to number 1.
other than that all is fine here on my site.

MrZeropage 10-26-2005 05:40 PM

JTyson did an auto-installer for v3arcade-ZIPs *woooow*
Will check this out and integrate it in the next release - THANKS for that

@micheal332001:
Yes, PNflashgames is the thing I have to concentrate on next - I am away the next days and will contact you via PM so that we both could get this topic fixed, thx

redlabour 10-26-2005 07:12 PM

Full Ack ! ;)

tcs 10-26-2005 08:58 PM

Why invade an ibproarcade thread with v3arcade chat. That is flat out rude.

I come for Ibpro info and you are giving people information on a different product that is not currently free or available.

ummm and why would that be ?

Both mods have there good points and mainly only good points. They are a similar mods and both will be supporting each others game product types, therefore its a perfectly valid part of the topic to discuss. Unless of course v3 author was trying to hijack an ibp arcade thread. I havnt seen that myself tho.

4number8 10-26-2005 09:08 PM

Just wanted to say thanks to MR Zero for all his work and time he has put into this, I can't wait for the release and I appreciate everything you have done... :)

Hiya m8

You know ill help all i can to get this working as i have some multiplayer games and pro games i would like to put on as this is a great addon to my site.
I can also make a licensed game up to try out too as i have a few of my own that uses the pnflashgames component.
I have about 1000 game fla files so trying it out will not be a problem.
Looking forward to helping you on this.

Yes they do m8
You would have to add them into the arcade manuly not in a tar format.

take alook at the pnflashgames here

http://www.michealmilton.com/forum/arcade.php

The categories they are in are pro games and multiplayer games

The games in these 2 categories are all pnflashgames.

Thanks to TYSON for adding this in to the arcade.
And a very big thanks to mrzero for the great arcade that you will all soon have.

Oh you will have to signup to play the games as only members can play if you are not a member you can only view the games.

Paul_Hollibone 10-28-2005 10:07 PM

Just thought I would add (Not trying to rant) but it seems john plans on releasing his arcade within this weekend.

soniceffect 10-28-2005 10:21 PM

I believe he also planned on releasing it the weekend previous :)

Gemma

I believe that Paul's information was of direct interest to those of us following this thread, your attempt at censorship was inappropriate.

John is v3arcade and this thread is for IBPROARCDE info which is free and available today. v3arcade is a different system. If john releases today it is still not information for this thread.

darkworld is correct and I gripped about this a page back. I must have ESP.

Paul_Hollibone 10-29-2005 01:51 AM

I am not on either ones side, I personally dislike the v3 version, due to John.

Even though John's service of it is not really a pay per thing fling, but his Customer Service Skills are terriable.

I was just letting the general community know that is what is being said.

I AM SORRY FOR BEING SO IGNORANT!
