Fixed my first issue, it was on my end with the php editor I was using.

Incidentally, I ran into the forreach error but your fix on the first post solved it.

I'm poking around it now... very nice job. Does this make use of secondary usergroups for permissions or are they stored elsewhere?

also i already did a find/replace in templates from uttstore to ushop, and still getting problems

i also am not getting images on my shop page. i have them enabled, and linked correctly, but no images are showing for the items

erikajune - if your using dreamweaver, switch to a different editing program. I had the same error and used Syn Text Editor (free from sourceforge.net) which solved that issue. You should only need to reedit that functions file.

When I tried notepad, the file looked like a mess. No line breaks whatsoever which was why I went to a different program. I am kind of curious how that happens. I bet thats why people are having issues with the HTL though.

I've read the whole thread, and so far cannot figure it out, i've tried everything.

We use 20 styles, is this install (no HTL) updating all styles?

it added them to my 3 styles.

Anyone getting the problem of no points per view? I set it to .01 but dont see any increase.

I'm still getting the no action problem as well as no point increase. I did what was said in the edited first post - it got rid of an error but did not help with the no-action and I added "1" to a forum (x3) - still nothing.

The standalone installer does have a problem. The reason people have links pointing to the wrong place is because in the templates in creates it references uttstore.php instead of ushop.php.

I downloaded the file about half an hour ago so am pretty sure it is the latest version.

seems to be a small error when there are characters that get url encoded

for example the following shows in 1 of my settings pages:-

Don't forget to take forum options into consideration

of course Don't should be don't, there seem to be many errors like this

Update Display Order, Cost, Tax, Sold, Quantity Refill, and Quantity en masse.
You can duplicate the "Secondary Usergroup" action and define which usergroups are joinable for each action by duplicating the action file and setting the joinable groups at the top (so you can allow different usergroups to be joined for different prices)
Secondary Usergroup is an extremely powerful action - you can give people access to forums, higher PM quotas, the ability to see invisible users, access to free custom title changing, etc.
Action Specific Variables System - specific variblables set per action. You can add and edit these variables in debug mode - or you can just change the value while editing an action as if it were any other variable.
Copy an action (useful for actions like secondary usergroup and those dealing with forums if you want each forum/usergroup to have a different cost/quantity/etc)
Very few queries! (On the main page, there are 6 queries - 5 from vB3 and 1 from the store - and that's just for the richest users!)

dont upload the HTLFiles folder
run admincp/ushop_install.php
then follow file_template.html :)

EDIT: The HTL install has now been burried deeper into the zip, and it is recommended that you do not install this hack using it. It is just as easy to use the standalone installer, so use it!

IF YOU ARE HAVING FOREACH ERRORS IN GLOBAL.PHP OR NO ACTION ERRORS:
First, remove the second global.php edit. Then run ushop.php?rebuildds=1. Then put the edit back in adns ee if that works. If it doesn't work, answer the questions above, if it does, post saying that and let me know in the post if you used the HTL or standalone installer. This will help me diagnose the problem as to whether it is a user error or an error on one of the installers. Thank you.

IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANY POINTS:
Edit a forum and set all of the store settings to '1' and save.

ok. I found a few errors, i enabled images, but they're not showing. Also, everything except donate and theif is out of stock.

Also, in the post bit i made a mistake, but i dont know what to delete. In the postbit its now got Post: x | Post: x . I'm using Postbit_Legacy

Planning to install this, I only have 3 questions beforehand.

1. Why is it version 0.93, not 1.0?

First of all: Reply to feedback request regarding my first problem with the wrong link in postbits;

I had to change the postbit/postbit_legacy references to uttstore.php to ushop.php. I had tried redownloading the hack again so I was using the latest version as of about 8 hours before this post. Sorry I took so long to answer but I was fixing a lot of issues. Thanks for your help! :)

What is the exact error you recieve?

- I have no input place to determine how much to pay ANYWHERE. I did have but it has mysteriously gone.
- The bank has the 'cannot enter non-positive amount' problem already posted about.
- I failed to find a second file edit for global.php to fix the posted global problem. However my forum seemed to fix itself...

- I don't get the images for actions either.
- It seems some of my users get "No actions found" on everything in the store but others do not. I have checked the usergroup settings. :/
- My bank problem is also in the 'thief' section. I had the following bug reported;

It was the only available thing at the shop, so I figured I would try it. I put in the name of the person I tried to steal from, and hit Continue. It then says I cannot steal a non-positive amount (although I was never prompted to enter a value to begin with).
- I'm now getting this MySQL error when I try to admin-donate to myself;

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.0:

Invalid SQL: UPDATE user SET uttpoints=uttpoints+ WHERE userid='1'
mysql error: You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE userid='1'' at line 1

This is extremly frustrating....but I think I know what is wrong. I wasn't supposed to install the htl version and then do the file edits from the HTML page included was i? :(

SmasherMaster - yes, thats how HTL works I beleive.

Personaly myself id remove the htl version as there deffo is some confusion and make everyone do it the proper way.That way it will be easier to keep track of errors etc.Then when everyone has suzzed it then just release a HTL version with the bugs fixed.
As for me,the store works fine - members get points and can buy stuff if they have enough points and the hack aitn exactly one of the hardest to install either.Also people say they got problems with the bank - ive been testing like mad on this and never got any sort of errors donating from one member to another.

Ok, yes, there still are a few references to uttstore.php in the templates apparently. I'm going to leave the no images showing up questions for Zachery, since he did the templates and probably didn't put it back in.

It shouldn't matter. Either way, uninstall with the standalone and then re-install with the standalone.
