An updated/rewritten version of this hack is now available at
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=751158 arpy |
Is it possible to install this hack in combination with this one? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=78210
|
why not update this for 3.0.8 rather then 3.5?
in using 3.0.7 and when trying the file changes some of them cant be found to change, so im assuming this doesnt work with 3.0.7 and just 3.0.0 or maybe 3.0.3 |
Why make a hack for an old [and soon to be discontinued] version of software? Doesn't make sense to me...

I plan to eventually install 3.5 on a dummy site and slowly re install all the changes and mods i have as they are re-released, but this will take time. Heck i still know of plenty of people using VB 2 and lots of people using 3.0.3 and not planning to upgrade to 3.0.7 or 3.5 for that matter. |

And somehow I've managed to get events to post themselves twice... |
has anyone got this hack working on 3.0.7 and above?
My memebers are requestion such a hack and i'd like to install this however if its not compatible then I need to look elsewhere. |
I believe there are people using it on 3.0.7.
|
I'm using the one at:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ent+Attendance at my 3.51 forum. Works great. Don |
well about 5 posts up hades-1 mentions that he's not been able to make some changes as the files are different so I'd like to confirm that it works before installing it on a 3.0X board.
As for 3.5.1 I'm not going to be updating to that for quite sometime until all the hacks I use are either available or something similar exists. I didn't upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0 for probably a good 8-12 months for similar reasons. |
There is a 3.5 version of this hack available. I'm holding out just like you are before upgrading. But I am looking forward to the plug-in architecture. Best of luck!
|
well if anyones interested it does deffo work with the later versions of 3.0.x as its working for me and along with the comments hack!!!
|
Anyone know if you can add (new events added to the calander) to show on new posts feature of VB....?

its not that tough you can do it. However it gets harder if you edit an event and need to update your titles etc.
There are new thread on calendar event hacks but it wouldn't take into account edits. You could try coding around that or just create a new thread and moderate the two together. |
I try to post also here my request. It's possible to modify this one to let each people attending specify how many people will attend the event?
And make it work under 3.5? |
installed on my two sites.
|
Is there any way to get this working on version 3.54?
|
Last night we upgraded to 3.5.4 and I too need this. It was working great before we upgraded.
|
mmm this is not compatible with 3.5.x...is there a chance to see this beautiful hack working on last versions?
|
plzz 3.5.4
|
Does this work in 3.6?

Doesn't work in 3.6
I have no plans for porting this, but anyone that wants to please feel free to use the code/idea and port it. |
And if you do port it, please do make it integratable with paypal/other check out methods :)
