i am running VB3 RC2 and i only used the installer

ya but note pad and work pad cant search multiple lines can it? if i need to search for 5 lines and i paste the line in the find it only gets the first line

Notepad has an extremely great FINDing tool. Use notepad or wordpad. But wordpad sometimes dont find stuff as notepad does.







You either ran some queries wrong or did some phrases wrong. Make sure you ran the installer also. And are you sure its VB RC2? or any VB RC

i know that... Just search the longest line snippet. You can do the rest manualy... Thats how I install all my hacks :ermm:

Ok i found out how to challenge. You can only challenge people who have used the arcade tho. Also the Champion isnt appearing in postbit but im guessing thats my fault

very very very nice hack but one question.

is it possible to exchange all hardcoded phrases with variables that I can translate this hack to german?

You're using postbit_legacy. You need to make changes to the postbit_legacy template, rather than postbit.

Excellent hack!! Very simple to install even after double and triple checking to make sure I didn't miss anything. Although the following issues have presented themselves.

Using vb RC2 on my forums and high scores, "Your Statistics", Times played, and champion in postbit aren't showing any data.

Btw, how many queries are in the main arcade page, and especially added in the postbits as the other arcade had a large amount of queries in this regard when having bunches of games and their trophies displayed... Thanks again!

Queries on the front page, always between 13-15 regardless of the number of games. Will be reduced in the next release.

Hey John, any advice as to why I don't see high scores, time played, personal stats, etc? It's almost as if the numerical values of those items aren't getting set in the db tables properly.

example:
Number of game sessions recorded: 0
Total time spent playing in the Arcade: 0 minutes
Recent Arcade scores: No Scores Recorded
Arcade Awards: Asteroids Champion, with a score of 5750
Average Ping: 0 milliseconds

UltraEdit is the best text editor that i have come across.

It has a great little tool for comparing files, and a good easy search feature.

I prefer EditPlus 2, just works better in my experience. I've used UltraEdit for like 1.5 years, then I found EditPlus and have been using that non-stop for like... 2 years straight now. :)

Let me just point out, that all problems with permissions not working or scores not being submitted have been because the hack was not installed according to the instructions.

If this doesn't work, check the instructions twice over. The problem is almost always the code being pasting in the wrong place. (Or something being added instead of replaced.)
