Well that would of never crossed my mind;) I'm glad you have sorted it though!

GTA3_Mafia 04-01-2004 08:39 PM

Any update on the next version? :)

assassingod 04-02-2004 04:45 AM

It's currently being worked on as we speak, the adminisitrative CP end is complete and the user-end is not far off it:)

Areku 04-02-2004 10:21 AM

Be sure to rename CATAGORYS to CATEGORIES ;)

Btw, is there any easy way to enable HTML output support for 1.3a?

Since tutorials are moderated, I can't see why HTML should be off...

Thanks!

Areku 04-02-2004 10:32 AM

Bah,

found myself :P

Just change

$tut['text'] = bbcodeparse2($tut['tutpagetext'],0,1,1,1);

to

$tut['text'] = bbcodeparse2($tut['tutpagetext'],1,1,1,1);

in tutorials.php ;)

Yes that's been sorted;) hehe

Areku 04-02-2004 01:42 PM

Could u help me out splitting output (tutorials list) onto two colums?

I.e.

category tutorials icon category tutorials icon
category tutorials icon category tutorials icon
category tutorials icon category tutorials icon
category tutorials icon category tutorials icon

assassingod 04-02-2004 01:47 PM

I'll take a look into this if I have time:) It's a good idea too

Areku 04-02-2004 01:59 PM

If you can let me know where do you "paint" the column so I can try sorting this out too.. .;)

assassingod 04-02-2004 03:19 PM

Line 25-52 of tutorials.php is how the categories are displayed. (If I understoof your post:p;))

Areku 04-02-2004 04:29 PM

I think u understood me, however, those lines do check how many tutorials are ok to be displayed and in which color to paint each line...

Since this is in a WHILE statement I can't see how to distribute it equally on two columns...

Any ideas?

weezer412 04-03-2004 02:48 PM

why doesnt vb code work

http://www.thecerealkiller.com/forum...iewtut&tutid=1

assassingod 04-03-2004 02:50 PM

Have you re-done all the templates? Have you uploaded all the new files?

weezer412 04-03-2004 03:00 PM

yes i have done everything and checked it twice

also how do i add a link to my main tut page that says cant find the tutorial you want click here to serach i tried but it wont work

assassingod 04-03-2004 03:02 PM

Did you overwrite the old templates too?

Edit the tuts_navi (i think) template.

2.3.3

weezer412 04-03-2004 03:10 PM

see and you said its in tuts navi...yes it is on the admin page where i edit it but it doesnt show up on my forums it just says add a tut. no search by it

also they are update din the sql

maybe i should see if the old templates are still in there and elte them...maybe they didnt go away when ia dded the new ones...well i edited old through the admin panel not php my admin

assassingod 04-03-2004 03:12 PM

That's really odd, the only reason I can think of that happening is if you haven't uploaded all the new files and re-done all the templates, but you said you have.

assassingod 04-03-2004 03:17 PM
