Ok, I didn't realize guests didn't see the thumbs. It's been so long. I'll PM you.

Thanks Mark. I'll give that a try and report back here, eventually. Someone else may be looking for this.

Excellent! It works and across multiple skin colors. As you've mentioned it gives me a place to work on the background color without searching for other code or plugins all day.
I'm currently working on fixing about 7 skins/themes. (Yeah, some people like them and won't let go... LOL.) I've been putting some stuff off for a few years. Thanks Mark! :D |

I had to retrace my steps several times but it was worth it. I've got it working on 4.2.4 and am very happy, all for one little php error message I need to get rid of. |
I just installed this on 4.2.4 and it's looking great and I was able to upload pictures, assign a category and make an album but I have the following php message at the top
"Warning: Illegal string offset 'catid' in /home/xxxx/xxx/photoplog/index.php on line 92" Can someone please help me decipher and fix this? Thanks in advance |

I downloaded the product, and looked at that file, and unfortunately, I don't see what the issue is...but it's past my bedtime, and perhaps tomorrow with fresh eyes, I will spot it. :)

Thanks for taking the time. Hopefully whatever you find will help someone, maybe even me if DBTech;s doesn't work out... On edit: I'm not uninstalling it just yet. Instead I'll recheck every single step to make sure I didn't miss anything. 2nd edit: There was nothing wrong with the editor. Some of my CKeditor files weren't properly uploaded. Sigh. I encourage anyone who runs into problems to retrace every single step and upload these files even more methodically that normal. But I still have the original problem you were helping me with |

Oh PhotoPlog, so many found memories of this plugin back in the day :)
I always liked it over the expensive photopost |
This one is new to me, I think, hoping somebody has seen it. The main photo display stopped working, all photos, multiple, updated browsers. We're still using vb 4.2.3 w/any applicable patches.
I've tried using the photoplog maintenance tools, and looking over file.php, the apparent issue. I noted the file on the server was smaller in size than the original photoplog/file.php file, v2.1.6. I tried a backup and overwrite. Verified chmodding. The paths below are for the same picture. From Chrome Inspect tool: Quote:

Does anyone have insight regarding my previous post?
|
I've installed it on vBulletin 4.2.5 and followed the instructions, everything works okay up until the upload. The upload page comes up, I add a file, the description, etc., but when I try to upload this error comes up:
syntax error, unexpected 'new' (T_NEW) on line 29 in /home/domain/forums.domain.net/photoplog/ratebit.php #0 {main} Line 29 of ratebit.php : $bbcode_parser =& new vB_BbCodeParser($vbulletin, fetch_tag_list()); Any ideas? edit: Nevermind, it's fixed. Same problem as with the vb link directory. If anyone else has this problem and uses PHP 7, it can be corrected by removing the class assignment operator - the ‘&’ - which is no longer supported. |

It's just an annoying warning, though, everything seems to work fine. |

What version of PHP?
|
Hi,
newly installed with php5.6. Errormessage when click on https://***/photoplog/index.php Code:
can anyone help me? |
Looks like you have not uploaded the files correctly.
Also Have you gone through the entire thread and applied the "fixes" that have been posted? This thing is ancient and might require someone to fix the code to work properly both in VB 4.2.5 and PHP versions. |
