I figured the issue was with a language and the Locale, I will look into both as soon as I get a chance.

This should now be fixed, re download the zip, upload the files ant import the XML, just like you would if you were upgrading.

Can I manually input the donator name instead of showing IP address for those who don't have forum accounts?

DragonByte Tech 06-12-2013 07:33 PM

No not at this time.

Chris

DragonByte Tech 06-12-2013 08:43 PM

Actually now that I think about it, if you are manually entering a donation, for a person that does not have a account on the site, you would enter a 0 for the userid.

Any member that is a vBDonate admin will see the ip address for the name, any other users will see the name show as Unknown.

Thanks for the reply. Actually it also works if you leave the userid empty instead of entering a 0.

Anyway, it'd be great if you considered manual input on donator name for the next update.

NoMatt3r 06-13-2013 12:01 PM

If i directly enter the URL www.blablabla.com/vbdonate.php?do=dodonate i can bypass the log in check and unregistered users can donate.

Is this considered as a bug?

I doubt that will happen. The username is derived from the userid of the contributor, so by adding a name would require alot of additional coding, not to mention another column in the db to store such info.

I would not say a bug, but a unintended feature. :p I'll get it sorted in the next update though. :)

Hey there after installing the LITE version, I've set up everything and it's working fine but payments are not conforming automatically and I got a warning from PayPal through email about the IPN not working.

The following
Quote:

Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

/payment_gateway.php?method=paypal

If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

Thanks,

PayPal
Payments through the original vbulletin subscriptions work fine never had any issues, now that I've also added this plugin to help pay for the site but not get a subscription it's getting this problem, can I not use both subscriptions and the vbdonate ?

Also to mention my IPN's are turned off. It says at history "The IPN feature is turned off. You must turn on IPN in order to create history data."

DragonByte Tech 06-21-2013 09:06 AM

Auto confirming is a Pro only feature. As far as the message from PayPal, the file they mention is not a part of vBDonate, so I am not sure what that is about.

Hi.

My contributors won't be added to my Donators group. I just want to add them to my donator group but not change the main group. But it won't work for me. Did i use wrong settings?

DragonByte Tech 06-26-2013 09:22 AM

So when you approve the contribution, the member is not getting added to group X ?

Chris

NoMatt3r 06-26-2013 10:58 AM

Correct. When i confirm a contribution i'm asked if i want to add the user to my group x. I click okay, then the contribution has been confirmed but there isn't a usergroup adding.

DragonByte Tech 06-27-2013 09:34 AM

That's a weird one, could you send me a full admin account so I can try and see wat the issue may be on your site.

Hello,

On my forum, i had the "VSa - Advanced Forum Statistics (AJAX)" mod already installed. But when i installed the "DBTech vBDonate", the "amount goal box (where you can see the credit cards and PayPal logo)" is giving me an annoying bug :

The Statistics box becomes bold, all the text become gold and that's really unpleasant to see :

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/07/31.png

As you can see, when the DBTech mod is enabled, it adds on the source code the <b> <b> tags, and that makes the "VSa stats box" bold and it overflows on the right...

I tried to remove the <b> tags from the templates but i can't find it :/

Can someone help me please, thank you!

[EDIT] : Problem resolved.

ahmad6 07-19-2013 04:22 AM

I am having this same problem. Users aren't being added when I confirm and add. Everything is set up the same as before I updated. In the last version, I received an error every time I confirmed but it still added to the new usergroup. Now the error is gone but I must manually add them to the usergroup after.

Hello,

i have a really annoying problem about the display of the members who donate :

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/07/14.png

Even though i enable the "Fix Broken Display With Sideblocks?" option and clear the cache, i still get this problem.

Can anyone help me please ?

DragonByte Tech 07-27-2013 10:28 AM

It looks like with the images you have on ether side of the username, it is too long to fit in the display area, that is why it is showing like that. I would suggest making your sideblocks just a bit wider.

Chris

And how do i do that please ?

By the way, is it possible to use text instead of images for the amounts donated because these images with the amount are a little bit unpleasant to see.

Cordially

NoMatt3r 08-02-2013 11:01 AM

Hi.

How can i hide the amount of contributions in the sidebar block? I just want to list the latest contributors.

And i'm still having some issues which i have been sending to you in a PN (3 weeks ago).

Regards

To make the blocks wider, change the forum_sidebar_width stylevar.

Which images are you referring to?

That is not possible at this time without editing the templates.

Sorry for the delay on the other stuff, I had some family issues and then I lost my computer, and al my dev stuff to go with it. I will try and get to it this weekend.

Chris

Milobil 08-02-2013 05:04 PM

Thanks for your help but i still have the same problem even if i make the blocs wider :

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2013/08/44.png

And when i say images, it's because the amounts donated seems to be displayed on a picture, the color of the background of the amounts is not the same as the bloc's.

DragonByte Tech 08-02-2013 07:39 PM

The amounts are text not images.

Doy you still get the display issues on a unmodified default style?

Chris

Milobil 08-03-2013 09:39 PM

Yes with the default style of vbulletin i still get this issues..

Milobil 08-10-2013 11:22 PM

Bubble #5 08-14-2013 01:59 PM

How/where do we change the color of the text for the 'Contribute" button?

DragonByte Tech 08-14-2013 06:23 PM

What version of vB are you running?

Chris

Bubble #5 08-14-2013 06:32 PM

Oh sorry Chris, 4.2.1.

DragonByte Tech 08-14-2013 07:15 PM

You would change it in the Navigation Manager then, you will see the title is like this:

Code:

<font color="limegreen">Contribute</font>
Chris

Bubble #5 08-14-2013 07:23 PM
