Once you import the XML you have to manually add the {thumbs up} and {thumbs down} boxes to the templates, check out the installation instructions for a general site,the info is in there.

There should be a method for a way to input a code into any template, so that we can put these on several different mods. Like a instance manager in admincp.

however, I don't see it working on horizontal post, but only vertical... the buttons disappear when changing posting position to horizontal...

I found the fix. It is in manual written to to add {vb:raw post_thumbs_box} to the place in postbit template.

That exists currently in options. You can access it in admincp here:

if you want it to flash, then you can use either way;

1- using the browser support by adding blink around the div you want to flash

2- install a blink bbcode and insert it around that div...

the choice is yours.. :)

I guess you can replace the image in the directory image/button/down.png

if you, however, want to change the name from down.png to something else, you can edit it after searching for it in the same template of the mod...

How?? you can just search for down.png and it will lead you to the required template... as simple as that.

Thanks for the response but I think I have confused matters.....

The picture attached may help clear the confusion..

In the picture I want to change the (red) box colour but with it being a hover, I can't get a hold of it in firebug...

It's actually fairly simple. Just find and remove every instance of:

target="_blank"

from sc_thumbs_latest_bit and sc_thumbs_top_bit templates.

check where you uploaded the button images. also for the stats, you need to be sure about your settings from the ACP from the thumps up options.
