Heya,

I downloaded this, and it got rid of the sub menus in the Forum Tab. Couldn't work out how to get this back.

Also, anyway of creating a Drop Down Tab? Not just a drop down submenu?

I do believe it is fixed on your site, I left it disabled though and left Navigation Manager Enhancements enabled, so you can set up the tabs, as to many are enabled and mess up the navbar display.

Not sure where I went wrong...which I don't think I did.

I installed it and it messes up my style; giving it a white background and kinda stretches it out. I didn't even get to test the plugin itself. Once I mark disable and refresh the page it goes back to normal.

Any suggestions?

I just upgraded to 4.2 PL3 (finally) and when I reinstalled this it blanked out my sub menu on the navbar?

If I disable the product, the submenu returns. It does this on my default style as well!

I uploaded all the contents of the 4.2 as noted in the install info? Please advise, it is disabled for now.

This mod is still making the submenu disappear....

With the mod enabled, ensure the following is in the Tab Script(s) for the Forum Tab,
index.private.faq.calendar.group.album.profile.mem berlist.subscription.showgroups.online.showthread. showpost.forumdisplay.newthread.newreply.editpost. member.search.activity

TBH it don't even look right in the first screenshot, is this a custom style that is available on vb.org, also which version of vb are you running?

I am running vb v.4.20 .
The custom style is from vb.org ,
During the past I had problem with header.
I don't know why but the "searchbox" change position without doing anything.
So I add to "additional.css" a code that I found on another template to move the "searchbox" on another position.

If you give me the link to the style, and the edit's you performed I can try it on my dev and see what I can come up with.

I just can manage the "Genrell Settings", but not even more!

What happens when you click on General Settings? If you are trying to create tabs from there you can't in vB v4.2.0+ you have to do that in the Navigation Manager.

Thanks for your answer, i use vb4.2pl3, and i know that i've to use the navigationmanager. But with the vB-manager i can't create DropDown-Tabs! And this AddOn seems to do this ... but i can't create anything.

In the generall settings i just the last menu-point is: "Sublink Menus Open On Hover?"

That has to be done in the Navigation Manager also.

It is a small process but not to difficult.

1) Create a tab.
2) Create a menu for the tab.
3) Edit the tab and the last setting, "Select The Menu To Act As The Dropdown." select the menu you just created, click on save.
4) Add links to the menu you created, these are what will show up as the dropdown items in the tab.

I had to remove the plugin in order to fix the layout.

Background color changed and layout got wider

Which style is that and where can I find it so I can test it out on local.

Hi Guys, ive installed this to try out the features, but ive now lost the background color of the navbar tabs, they are now all transparent, I thought I could just change this in the stylevar but cant find it anywhere, any advice?

happened to me too, but no answer from him yet.
You may as well write here what is the name of the style you got and where did you get it, so he can test it.

If you have vBNavTabs installed still, pm me a admin account and I can work it out on your site for you to make it work with your style.

I installed the 4.2.0 xml and uploaded the 4.2.0 files for my first installation of vbnavbars. The admincp left frame had only 1 drop down for vbnavbar saying general. There was no add, sub, etc. from the screenshot I've seen. I tried to install the regular on top of 4.2.0 thinking the 4.2.0 might have something missing the other had, with no success. I am now uninstalling to reinstall 4.2.0 and hopes it has the right amount of settings.

That is all that is supposed to be in the version for 4.2 all the other options are controlled by the Navigation Manager now.

Finally got it working.

That was key to me but didn`t find it until later. For the 4.2 version that is critical to understand this mod. Could you add it to the 4.2 as a read me.
