Their settings are the same as everyone elses. I have spent all morning going over this and I have no idea what could be wrong. Any suggestions?

I need my members to be able to purchase access/subscriptions to specific forums. Am I overlooking something or is there a customization I need to undertake?

I am looking because it seems that I seen that setting ladytech. I am ready to pull my hair out. I do not know why certain usergroups can access vbplaza and certain usergroups can't when ALL of them are set exactly the same. I have been dealing with this all day. I really wish someone knew the answer.

You have to go into your admincp> usergroups> select a usergroup>scroll down adjust any vbplaza settings....hit SAVE....which manually turns on each usergroup....

Thanks hunnie, I've already did that and it's not working. It's just really weird because the setting are the same for another usergroup and it's working fine. Maybe I need to uninstall and reinstall it again. I just simply thought that it was something that i was missing but I have went over it numerouse times per usergroup and if it works for one, it should work for the other because I have the setting exactly the same. Weird.

I have narrowed this down to the problem, I believe.....

The vbplaza is working for all of the "default" usergroups, such as Super Moderator, Adminstrator, Moderators, etc. But it's not working for the custom usergroups that I have created on the forum. PLEASE ANYONE??

Do you keep your custom group members as "registered members" as well? That helped us with addon issues such as yours.

Question? where do I go to keep track of our members points....ie I would like to know how they are earning points, I think I saw how/where to do that, but I cannot remember where it was and can't find it.

You have to set them up. Such as how many points per post, to start a thread, etc. That's the way members earn points at my forum.


To answer MY own question just in case others have that issue....the option is in "Vb Items". You have to scroll all the way to the bottom and change the primary and secondary usergroups settings. This has changed with vb4.

Im having some problems after installing this. When a member click submit to give a gift it goes to a white screen...(sends the gift though) Its almost like there is a file in the wrong place in the server or something but I have no idea what file I would need to look for. I think I have them all in the correct place.

Also it seems to be interfering somehow with my forum runner app. I disabled it and the FR app went back to working fine. My members like this but I need to get it working correctly.

as it seems the coder of this mod is no longer interested to develop this hack. what a pity, it would have a great capacity to make new features and fix some bugs.

I don't know, maybe there will be a coder who can get the permission to work with this hack and develop it.

Well it tells you the issue. There seems to be a column called "ms_wic_addon_permissions" in your table "usergroup" in the database. But this column is not registered. Do you still have installed the plugin that created this column in the table? Some plugins don't drop their database activities even when uninstalling.

If not you can try to delete it via your Database Manager (phpmyadmin or so.)
You can do this manually or use a SQL command, that might look like this:

Please keep in mind that this command will delete the whole column from the table and it is not possible to undelete it again, except you're using a backup file.

The postbit is showing up fine... but when I click vbPlaza on the navbar it tells me I don't have permission... I am the administrator! I can't find a setting in vbPlaza about who is permitted to use it...but there are rather a lot so I might have missed it.

Also the link in the readme file doesn't work to get a licence.

Well I can say for certain those files exist in the zip file, so if you followed the instructions to the tee, those errors would not be present, as they are saying the files are not on your server.
