Because the required framework is not in vb3, It's only in vb 4.1.4 and up to it.

No, You need to upgrade to 4.1.4 to get the new vBulletin editor.

Hi all.

I only started using VB yesterday and the admin panel is still Greek to me, please tell me where in the admin panel must I upload this file? Sorry I know it is a stupid question but I did not see any instruction and I read from page 1 till last on all the versions released.:erm:

Admin CP->Plugins and Products->Add/Import Product->Browse (find the file you downloaded in your computer)->Import.

Only thing extra is to click allow overwrite when you upgrade the file, if this is your first time installing, you don't need to click it. :D

Thanks for replying. At least I know that I was on the right track but I encountered this error after uploading: XML Error: Not well-formed (invalid token) at Line 1

Any suggestions on how to fix that or why I am getting this error?

Don't know exactly, do you have vbulletin 4.1.4 installed on your forum? this is only for that version, if you have an older version, you need to use Marco's other mod which was released for the earlier versions.

Yes it is 4.1.4 and was installed on Saturday. Might it be something on my computer that are blocking some files from downloading? (I have no idea)

I tried from a different computer and it uploaded fine but the quick reply is still exactly the same?

Make sure that it has been uploaded correctly "You may need to upload it again and allow overwrite" If you can experience the same issue after re-upload the modification again then make sure that all the modification options are enabled from vbulletin admincp > vbulletin options > [CKEDITOR] MARCO1 Advanced editor

I get double switch editor button on Go advanced and PM Quick Reply

Is this Mod supposed to be able to work with the editor for Visitor messages on a user's profile? If not, would it be hard to make that a feature of it?

It's only effect on quick reply and quick edit.

This mod interrupts "DBTech Advanced Post Thanks Like Pro" Veiwing the "requires like/thanks" ect in post additional options.

Fix please, for now I have disabled it.

This modification is using the default vBulletin editor code base, If other mods are not work with it then it's not updated to the new editor code base.

This is not Marco's add-on. These are issues with the CKEditor. See bug reports: only the lasy custom BBCode is applied, no matter which button you click. Hopefully, they will be fixed in version 4.1.5.

My modification doesn't add anything new to vBulletin codes, I use the same vBulletin ckeditor framework so anything that's not work in the editor it's related to the editor itself.

P.S : Number of fixes in ckeditor will be included in 4.1.5
