I've started to install this, however i cannot get it to upload images. I've created the 'uploads' folder in the main root and set the path in admincp.. But it will not upload errors.

I've checked with the hosts and they see no errors in the server logs.. ???

what format are you using? i noticed only pngs work for the product image.

also have you tried going to products and services. then going to drop down menu and go to screenshots and upload from there? or go directly to upload screenshots under microCART

have PM'ed you back and have been looking into this as it should not be happening at all as it works fine on my server.
someone else did have this problem and they found out it was down to there imagemagic server installed on there site.

If this problem does not go away i will sout out a new way to upload the images to the server.

can this mod be combined with other mods like vbCreditsDeluxe etc.?
So that the user can pay with his earned credits instead of real money.

same problem still persists. Anything after the block gets dropped to the very bottom of the page and it shows the "3 latest products". Id like to chose what gets displayed in the block, but the main concern is it working right on the page itself.

latest update works. It no longer moves everything below it to the bottom of the page. I will WARN you, when you install this, it will automatically DELETE your #1 forum block. This is the 2nd time its deleted my "facebook like" block.

Michael, is there a way to control which item(s)/products get displayed in the block?

I'm having an issue setting up a downloadable product. The only way i can see to have the customer not pay shipping for a product is create a location with 'none' selected for the shipping option. However i can't see how this would stop other people who do have to pay shipping from selecting the 'none' shipping location.

Also, how do i remove the telephone number as a required field when entering shipping details?

I have a couple of problems/issues:

I'm using EUR (€)

1) when I write an option ( i.e. -3|green) in the output instead of having -€3 I have -€-3
2) the paypal generated links doesn't work

In addition to this, I don't know how it takes into account the different shipping methods. I don't know if it's embedded in paypal link, but actually it doesn't work!

At this time it has not been but it could be put in place at some stage.

Now that the block is working i will sort out the options for this and make other blocks as well.

I can change this so that the option is not a setting but a by product option for shipping.
So how it will work is when adding a product you will be able to choose if this product will have shipping or not.

Would that be better for you.

Sounds good.

It would also be good for admins to be able to choose from a list of things they want to include as required when the customer fills out the shipping form. There is no way my customers would be comfortable giving out their phone number.

Thankyou i do try to make sure i can answer all your questions as quick as i can as thats the best way to make this system alot better.

I will sort this out for the next release if possible and there will be the same affect added to the product view as the my account page.

As it stands you when you click on say screen shots it reloads the page and i dont want that i want it so that it will change to the page you want without having to keep reloading pages.

I'm just starting to set it up and upto now it's looking pretty impressive, certainly a mod i'll buy once it replaces my current shop.

One thing upto now i've found would be nice is if you could have a 'club membership' category that will allow you to set the email address of the forum members that manage to club memberships.

I've found the problem

It's not euro symbol related but it concerns the separator between cents and thousands: if I leave them as default (dot for cents, comma for thousands) it works. Otherwise you recieve a paypal error.

Try checking (and fixing) the parsing!

Now I'm trying to figure out how the additional shipping cost works

It would be nice if you could add a 'Category' images and have the category main page display set to into 3 columns and weigh display order within. As from previous experience people like to see a picture rather than read the category discriptions.. :)

you have 2 options here you can edit the template microcart_my_details

and remove this

then this is something to do with paypal if it's not theeuro symbol as paypal might have a set value for these and that why you get these errors.

This could be an option added to be able to add an image to the categories.

I will be putting a page there that will show you that the image has been uploaded,
as i have found this to be a pain as well.

In the AdminCP you can set the permission to moderate, where is this managed from within front end of the cart?

Should this give an menu option like 'my account' and will it allow people with moderation status to progress the order status along? (ie.. Pending > Paid > Dispatched)

Great work so far, loving this mod!

Couple things i would like to suggest/request.

1. Option Fields dont appear on the View Invoice Page, i.e. T-Shirt size or colour?
2. Cater for multiple Paypal accounts, i.e. thshirts go to paypal account 1, tickets go to paypal account 2 - different people handle different aspects of our site (events co-ordinator and merchaniser)

I have sugestion about shipping cost. Its not useful in Poland. Our shippers are this prices:
1 kg = 11,00
1-2 kg = 13,00
2-5 kg = 14,50
5-10 kg = 20,50
10-15 kg = 25,00
15-20 kg = 35,00
20-30 kg = 43,00

So extra weight is variable, its depend from weight range.
