it works with this one. It's a perfect replacement for all vB defaul quote and multiquote. No more over-quoting :up:

working on 4.2.0 patch 2

Doh. This is bad, it's a really useful mod if someone ask me it has to be build in instead all all that redundancy we have now.

This is a good sign, need an updated release for 4.2.0 as it isn't working right.

Downloaded this file and uploaded it but I'm having a problem with the quote box no longer going at the end of highlighted text. It just doesn't go in the right spot anymore.

Same problem, quote box is off centered. bummer, this is one of my favorite mods.

I even tried between default, and 3 other themes.

When "quote" is clicked it takes to the home page. The end of the URL looks like this " forum/forum.php# "

This was working fine on 4.2.1 but now when text is highlighted the quote button is off center to the left.

Works like a charm in vb 4.2.1 after applying the patch on post #262.

It would be nice if someone said how it doesn't work in v4.2.1, otherwise no one can really be of any help. I am not going to load it to find out why it doesn't run on someone elses board, but I might be able to determine if it is a real v4.2.1 problem just by looking at the code -- once I know what the problem seems to be.

I installed and that went ok, It shows the Quote when i highlight the text and when i click quote it takes me to the home page.

I tried the update still nothing - also tried on all browsers just takes me back to index page.

I just updated to 4.2.2 and this item still works perfectly.

Takes me to the homepage too....

I installed this mod quite a while back, and still love it. It has always worked perfectly. One of my favorite mods. My members love it as well. I can't remember if I posted in this thread, so I am now. Thank you. :)

Since this is marked, un-supported, I doubt it will happen.

Someone should make a new one for vB 5 then ;)

There is a plethora of mods that should be made for vB5, but who knows if and when that will be, I have seen quite a few of the old devs here don't code for vB anymore. :(

I take it that nobody else is having this issue...
